He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where he earned a B.A. in Integrative Biology. He attended medical school at Tulane University before performing his internship in Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center. He completed his Dermatology Residency and served as Chief Resident at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. MacGregor is now in private practice in San Francisco, and is a Clinical Instructor at UCSF and teaches Internal Medicine trainees at the CPMC Family Health Clinic.
