OPEN DAILY 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM BURBANK & KOREATOWN IMPORTANT INFORMATION Frequently asked questions When should I come to Animal Urgent Care? We encourage you to seek veterinary care any time you are worried about your pet's medical condition. If your pet needs care today, our experienced veterinary team is here to help. Call ahead or walk in, we accept all patients with no appointments necessary. We're open 7 days a week from noon to 10PM. When should I not come to Animal Urgent Care? Yearly exams and vaccines - The doctors and staff at Animal Urgent Care are best at helping with acute medical problems. We do not see pets for yearly routine appointments or give routine vaccinations. If you do not currently have a primary care veterinarian for your pet, please ask one of our team members for recommended general practices in your area. How do I know if my pet's problem is severe? If you are unsure about the severity of your pet's medical problem, the experienced doctors and care team at Animal Urgent Care are here to help. We can provide a physical exam and perform diagnostics such as blood work and radiographs to determine if your pet's medical condition is severe. If your pet's condition requires overnight emergency care after 10PM, our team can help facilitate transfer to a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. How are you different from a primary care veterinarian? Your primary care veterinarian knows your pet and your pet’s past medical history best. We encourage you to see your primary care veterinarian, but we are here to help when their services are not available. Animal Urgent Care can provide treatment in all non-life threatening medical situations. If you do not currently have a primary care veterinarian for your pet, please ask one of our team members for recommended general practices in your area. What payment options do you accept? We accept all primary payment methods for your pet's treatment, including credit card, cash, and online payment options such as PayPal and ScratchPay. During your consult with the doctor, we will provide you with recommended treatment options and an estimate for your approval. If you have pet insurance, we encourage you to be up-to-date on the services covered under your insurance plan as you decide on a course of treatment. Our care team can provide you with copies of the estimate and invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Contact Us Burbank (818) 296-0700
