Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall dates and Saturdays, which are our busiest days. Early booking ensures availability at Brownstone Gardens for couples across the Bay Area and Tri-Valley. Please note that we do not hold dates, so if your preferred date is available, we encourage you to reserve it as soon as possible. Do I have to schedule a tour to view the facility? Yes. Private tours allow couples to explore the gardens, see ceremony and reception spaces, and discuss event options with our team. Tours are by appointment only. You can contact us directly at (925) 418-4532 or email us at [email protected] to set up your venue visit. We are located in Oakley. How can I secure a date for my special event? Dates are secured with a signed contract and deposit. We recommend booking as early as possible to guarantee your preferred date. Brownstone Gardens does not hold dates, so once you've chosen your ideal date, we recommend acting quickly. We use an online system called HoneyBook to manage all bookings and contracts. Once you're ready, we'll send you an email through HoneyBook with a proposal, contract, and monthly payment schedule. Your event date is officially secured once the first monthly payment is made. We love it! How do we book it? How does payment work? Brownstone Gardens uses HoneyBook to handle all bookings and contracts. Once you've decided on a date for your event, we will send you an email with a proposal, contract, and monthly payment schedule. The total cost of your package will be divided by the number of months remaining until your event, giving you your monthly payment amount. The final payment is due two weeks before your event, and all events must be paid in full prior to the event date. Once that payment is made, you are officially booked with Brownstone Gardens! Can I have a rehearsal prior to my wedding day? Yes, we offer rehearsal opportunities. During your meeting with one of our coordinators one month before your wedding, we will schedule a date and time for your rehearsal. If I book for an amount over what my actual guest count is will, I be refunded? Yes, adjustments can be made as long as your final guest count is submitted twenty-one days prior to your event. Your final payment in HoneyBook will be automatically adjusted—up or down—based on the final confirmed guest count. After I book my special event what should I expect from your venue? Once your date is reserved, our team is here to support you every step of the way. You can reach out anytime with questions about decorations, setup, food service, and more. Four to six weeks prior to your event, one of our Venue Coordinators will schedule an on-site planning meeting to review every detail of your day. How many guests can Brownstone Gardens accommodate? Brownstone Gardens can host up to approximately 250 guests, making it suitable for both intimate and large Bay Area weddings. Can we have both the ceremony and reception at Brownstone Gardens? Yes. Couples can host both their outdoor wedding ceremony and garden reception on site, creating a seamless wedding day without travel between locations.
