We kindly ask to visit the front desk prior to your departure to reconcile your invoice. For invoices that are not settled at the end of your visit, your card on file or membership account will be charged for outstanding balances, and a 20% gratuity will be added for all services received. Attire   Luxurious robes and slippers are provided for all guests upon arrival, along with special attire if required for your treatment. Swimsuits are optional in our separate men’s and women’s spa areas, and you’re welcome to disrobe to your level of comfort for treatments. Spa Etiquette   Our sanctuaries of rest and rejuvenation provide peaceful and relaxing experiences for all. Join us in supporting this environment by using spa voices, keeping your cell phone in your locker, and always engaging in respectful behavior. Remain Healthy and Hydrated To make the most of your and others’ wellness experience, please reschedule your visit if you are feeling ill.  Remember to stay well hydrated before and during your spa day. Our spas provide fresh spa water, tea, and lemonade for your health and enjoyment throughout the spa. For your safety, please refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages before your visit Amenities   We are delighted to invite you to enjoy our jacuzzis, steam rooms, saunas, showers, and fully appointed vanity areas. Available to all guests who book spa services totaling $100 or more. Teens   We invite our teen guests, ages 13-17 to receive skin care services tailored to their specific needs and also welcome them to enjoy our spa amenities. Please keep in mind that swimwear is required, and teens must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while enjoying the spa. Our guests under the age of 13 are welcome in our lobby area and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Other accommodations require prior management approval. Electronic Devices   Disconnect to reconnect. Leave your phone and electronic devices in your locker for the ultimate relaxation experience. We respect our guests’ privacy and peacefulness, so all electronic devices, including cell phones, tablets, cameras, and laptops, are only allowed in designated areas.   Cancellations   Please keep in mind that treatment bookings are times that are specifically reserved for you and our therapists.  If you do not cancel by the start of your appointment time or no-show to your scheduled service(s), the payment method used to secure the appointment will be charged for 50% of the cost of all non-canceled appointments. We kindly ask that you cancel at least 4 hours prior to your first scheduled appointment time and we would be even more grateful if you cancel 24 hours in advance. Gratuity   Leaving a tip for your service provider is customary and a nice way to say, “thank you for your care”. Standard hospitality rates suggest a minimum of 20% but gratuity is, of course, at your discretion.   Gift Certificates Show friends, family, and colleagues you care with a gift certificate that never expires. The gift certificate value, at the time of purchase, is redeemable for any future services or product purchases in spa. When redeeming, gift certificates must always be presented at the same service. Until a gift certificate is fully redeemed, please place it in a safe location as lost, misplaced, or stolen certificates are not refundable or replaceable. You may exchange any genuine Burke Williams gift certificates with a balance of less than $10 for the card's cash balance. When you first step through the doors of a Burke Williams Spa, you’ll find an elegant oasis where you can escape the demands of every day life. We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes to an hour early to enjoy the spa before your treatment. Once you check in at the front desk, we’ll give you your locker key and lead you on a guided tour of the spa facility. There are separate spa areas and quiet rooms for men and women, along with a co-ed lounge. As part of your spa experience, we invite you to take pleasure in the amenities, including whirlpools, saunas, showers, and cool mist rooms. Robes, towels and sandals, are provided and vanity areas are equipped with hair dryers, facial and spa products, and more. Swimsuits are optional in the spa areas. After you’ve enjoyed the spa amenities, your therapist will meet you in the lounge where you are welcome to enjoy an assortment of flavored waters, teas, and fresh fruit. He or she will escort you to your treatment room where you’ll have a moment to settle in, and then unwind with your treatment.  Please note that at Burke Williams we are committed to providing our guests with a comfortable, professional service that meets only the highest standards of the industry. It is our goal to create and maintain an environment in which both our guests and our employees always feel respected, valued, and safe. Our massage therapists are trained to ensure that every guest is properly and modestly draped at all times throughout his or her massage. Massage is not performed on the breasts, stomach, buttocks, or inner thighs. Once your spa treatments are finished, we encourage you to use the spa amenities, rest in the quiet room, or enjoy the lounge. To preserve the calm, privacy, and safety of all guests, the spa amenities and locker areas are phone-free spaces. Designated areas are available if you need to make a call or would like to take photos. Thank you for helping us maintain a tranquil environment. What is your age policy? We invite our teen guests ages 13–17 to receive skin care services tailored to their specific needs and also welcome them to enjoy our spa amenities. Please keep in mind that swimwear is required but not provided, and teens must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while enjoying the spa. Our guests under the age of 13 are welcome in our lobby area and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Other accommodations require prior management approval. What should I bring with me when I visit the spa? You will need a valid form of identification (driver’s license or passport) to check in at Burke Williams. Towels, robes, slippers, and a variety of toiletries are all provided. We also provide blow dryers, curling irons, and straightening irons for your convenience. Swimsuits are not required in our spa areas, but we do suggest that you bring one if you would feel more comfortable. When you arrive at Burke Williams, you will be given a locker. However, we do suggest that you leave any valuables or jewelry at home. How much time should I allow for my appointment? To fully enjoy all of our spa amenities, we recommend arriving at least an hour before your scheduled appointment time. However, if you are unable to take that much time out of your day, we recommend you arrive at least a half hour prior to your appointment time. This will give you time to check in and change so that you can meet your therapist in our lounge area on time. After your appointment is over, you are welcome to return to our spa area, Quiet Room, or lounge, and enjoy our facilities. Do you offer gift certificates? Yes. Gift certificates can be purchased via our website, in person at all of our locations, or by calling 1-866-BEYOND-5. We are delighted to invite you to enjoy our jacuzzis, steam rooms, saunas, showers, and fully appointed vanity areas. Available to all guests who book spa services totaling $100 or more. Can I bring alcohol to Burke Williams? To make the most of your experience, remember to stay well hydrated before and during your spa day. Our spas provide fresh spa water, tea, and lemonade for your health and enjoyment throughout the spa. For your safety, please refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages before your visit. What’s your cancellation policy? Please keep in mind that treatment bookings are times that are specifically reserved for you and our therapists.  If you do not cancel by the start of your appointment time or no-show to your scheduled service(s), the payment method used to secure the appointment will be charged for 50% of the cost of all non-canceled appointments.
