Data center infrastructure, industrial equipment, electronic systems, vehicles, and software platforms all face the same challenge: buyers and investors must understand what they are evaluating before they commit. The companies that communicate capability clearly move faster — faster to funding, faster to sales, faster to market adoption. The companies that rely on specification sheets and text descriptions lose opportunities to competitors who show rather than tell. The Environment Technology purchasing decisions are rarely made by engineers alone. Executive leadership approves budgets. Procurement teams evaluate vendors. End users influence adoption. Each audience needs to understand the product differently, and none of them will read a technical manual. Visual demonstration bridges this gap. A sixty-second animation can show what a product does, how it works, and why it matters — faster than any document, and with less room for misunderstanding. The Solution California Technical Media has operated since 2012, completing more than 1,600 projects across industrial, technology, defense, aerospace, and medical sectors. Our clients have included Siemens, Toyota, NASA, Cargill, Dyson, and technology companies at every stage from startup to global enterprise. We produce technical animation for: Investor and pitch presentations — product capability demonstrated for funding decisions Sales and marketing — visual product explanation for buyer education Trade shows and launches — product demonstration without physical prototypes Training and documentation — operational and maintenance procedures animated To discuss whether our work addresses your communication requirements: Schedule a Meeting Email us at

Before customers, partners, or investors can move forward, they need to understand how the product works and why it matters. California Technical Media creates visuals and animations that make complex mechanisms clear, so sales and marketing teams can move faster without relying on engineers to explain the basics in every conversation. What You Gain Faster movement through the pipeline : prospects understand sooner, reducing delays between stages. Less engineering time per deal : explanations are standardized, freeing technical staff to focus on design and not sales calls. Higher adoption in the field : your distributors and partners are supported and work from a consistent, approved narrative. Getting Started Contact Ari Zahavi, J.D. Founded and led by Ari Zahavi, J.D., our company has spent more than 12 years helping attorneys nationwide transform intricate technical theories into compelling visual stories that resonate with juries, persuade judges, and strengthen settlement negotiations. The Challenge: Technical Complexity Meets Human Understanding Whether you're dealing with a catastrophic truck accident involving mechanical failure, a complex patent infringement case, or a construction defect with multiple failure points, the challenge remains the same: how do you make sophisticated technical concepts accessible to everyday people making life-changing decisions? Your expert witness may understand every nuance of the failure mechanism, but can they communicate it in a way that sticks with jurors through deliberation? Our Expertise Across Every Practice Area We've illustrated cases spanning the full spectrum of litigation where visual storytelling makes the difference: Personal Injury : Mechanism of injury animations showing exactly how forces acted on the human body Motor Vehicle Accidents : Car, truck, and commercial vehicle collision reconstructions with precise physics Construction Defects : Building failure sequences, material degradation, and structural analysis Intellectual Property : Patent claim illustrations, prior art comparisons, and infringement demonstrations Criminal Defense : Crime scene reconstructions, timeline visualizations, and evidence correlation Medical Malpractice : Surgical procedure animations, diagnostic imaging enhancement, and standard of care illustrations Product Liability : Manufacturing defect analysis, failure mode demonstrations, and safety system breakdowns Speed That Matches Your Timeline We understand litigation moves fast. Our animation production runs 1-2 weeks from start to finish, plus additional time for revisions and refinements. We stay flexible for your schedule, standing by for comments and working around expert depositions, discovery deadlines, and trial preparation demands. Direct Collaboration Where It Counts We work directly with your case files, depositions, and exhibits—no middleman interpretation of your evidence. More importantly, we collaborate directly with your expert witnesses because our visuals typically illustrate their testimony. This direct partnership ensures the final animation or graphic perfectly aligns with their expert opinions and enhances their credibility on the stand. Partnership Opportunities for Litigation Support Companies We produce work for litigation support companies nationwide and understand the white-label partnership model. If you're looking to expand your service offerings and grow your business with high-quality trial graphics, we can discuss how our expertise fits into your client relationships while maintaining your brand presence. Your Next Step Every case tells a story. The question is whether that story gets told clearly enough for the people who matter to understand it correctly and favorably . Whether you're a litigation consultant building comprehensive case strategy or an attorney preparing for trial, we bring the technical expertise and legal understanding to make your complex case clear. Ready to discuss your case? The earlier we're involved in your case development, the more effectively we can map your evidence into compelling visuals that support your theory of the case. Setup for Law Firms Most law firms rely on external vendors for litigation graphics, creating scheduling bottlenecks, communication delays, and escalating costs. Isn’t it about time to integrate this secondary service into your law firm? You can. We help firms establish in-house visual production capabilities designed to their practice size and case volume. Department Models The optimal structure depends on your firm's size and litigation volume. Solo practitioners typically need one graphics professional integrated into existing workflows. Mid-size firms need dedicated teams with established production processes. Large firms require full departments with designers, animators, and production coordinators. Your graphics department will produce opening and closing presentations, witness examination visuals, evidence timelines, and jury instruction graphics. For settlement purposes, they create damages calculations, comparative analysis presentations, and demand packages. Expert testimony support includes technical animations, process demonstrations, medical illustrations, and accident reconstructions. Client communications become more effective with case status presentations, strategy explanations, and settlement analysis materials. Implementation The setup process begins with assessing your current visual needs, case types, and existing resources to determine the optimal department structure. Technical implementation includes workstation configuration, file management systems, quality control protocols, and production standards. We develop workflows for case intake, project management, review cycles, and delivery protocols. Staffing guidance covers hiring criteria, job descriptions, interview processes, and compensation benchmarking for graphics professionals. Space planning and equipment procurement occur in the first month, followed by technical installation, system integration, and initial staff onboarding in month two. Month three focuses on executing first projects, refining processes, and establishing performance metrics. Full production capability is operational within 90 days. Ongoing Support Monthly consulting addresses case strategy visual planning, complex project guidance, and technology updates. Quarterly reviews assess department performance, optimize processes, and develop staff capabilities. High-stakes cases receive specialized consultation for advanced techniques and quality assurance. Financial and Operational Benefits In-house departments eliminate vendor markups on ongoing production needs while providing direct communication with graphics staff who understand your cases and deadlines. Visual strategy develops alongside legal strategy from case inception rather than as an afterthought. Consistent quality standards and brand presentation improve across all materials without external vendor scheduling constraints. Firms typically see reduced external graphics costs, faster production turnaround, better integration between visual and legal strategy, improved client presentations, and more effective settlement negotiations. Getting Started Initial assessment evaluates your firm's needs and current capabilities. We then create a custom setup plan designed for your specific practice, handle technical and process implementation, provide staff training and workflow establishment, and offer ongoing consultation for performance optimization and capability expansion. This service is only available to licensed law firms actively engaged in the practice of law in the United States, as defined by the American Bar Association and applicable state bar authorities. It is not available to entities with a stake in litigation support companies. Contact Ari Zahavi, J.D. California Technical Media Corporation Schedule a Call Call: (949) 550-1100 (voicemail) Email:

One visual language across Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Marketing means fewer MLR rounds, faster internal alignment, and clearer understanding of how the device works and is used. When to bring us in (common triggers) You’re preparing a 510(k) or De Novo submission. Your IFU needs to illustrate use steps and user tasks. You’re planning a launch and need consistent visuals for web, sales, and training. What you get For Regulatory Device overview diagrams : components, interfaces, accessories, patient contact. Principle-of-operation sequences : concise step-by-step visuals that show energy/flow/mechanics and safeguards. Hazard–control overlays : tie risks to mitigations at the point of use. Comparison visuals (when applicable): predicate vs. new device at the level of function and technology. Traceability pack : a “visual ↔ source” map linking each label/claim/step to the exact source (report, page, figure). For IFU & Human Factors Task flows for intended users and environments. Line-art procedures for setup, insertion, operation, cleaning, disposal. Use-error callouts with warnings/cautions where they matter in the sequence. Alt-text/transcripts to support accessibility and reviews. For Marketing & Launch Cutaways, clean MOA schematics, and explainer animations aligned to the same facts as the regulatory set. “Fair balance” panels integrated into slides and web blocks so review cycles go smoother. Launch kit : hero visuals, short explainer (30–60s), sales slides, and stills for web/PR. Why hire California Technical Media for this work? Single visual language across teams → fewer contradictory edits and fewer MLR cycles. Reviewer-friendly sequencing → shows “what, when, why” without narrative bloat. Evidence-anchored → every element is traceable to your DHF/usability file/test data. Dual-use outputs → regulatory and commercial versions built from the same approved core. Process (fast, review-friendly) Data intake We ingest source material (design/bench/clinical summaries, draft IFU, risk controls, CAD). We align on intended use and claims boundaries. Storyboard by regulatory logic We structure visuals to follow how a reviewer reads: device description → MOA → user tasks → risks/controls → comparisons (if relevant). RA/SME alignment Short working sessions to confirm assumptions, terminology, and what must/ must not be shown. We flag anything that requires substantiation. Two synchronized builds Regulatory cut : neutral tone, no marketing claims, emphasis on clarity and controls. Marketing cut : same core facts, benefit statements with balanced safety info. Final package & handoff Editable masters + locked PDFs/MP4s, the visual ↔ source trace map, review notes, and alt-text/transcripts. We keep a changelog for future submissions. Compliance, risk, and review control Assumption accuracy : if requested, every assumption is flagged, confirmed with an SME, and documented in the trace map. Human factors : visuals mirror actual user tasks and essential performance; error-prone steps are explicitly marked. “Fair balance” : any benefit statement pairs with material risks/limitations in the same frame/slide. Claims discipline : every claim-like phrase gets a substantiation link (bench test, clinical data, labeling). Version hygiene : regulatory vs. marketing versions are tracked to avoid cross-contamination of claims. Deliverables & formats Still graphics (JPG/SVG/PDF/PNG) for submissions, IFU, labels, packaging. Animations (MP4 30–120s) for MOA and use steps. Slide modules (PowerPoint) with review notes and balanced claims blocks. CAD-based renders or schematic line-art, depending on confidentiality and review needs. Engagement options Core 510(k) Visual Set : device overview, MOA sequence, IFU task flow, risk-control overlays, trace map. Launch Add-On : explainer animation, hero stills, sales slides built from the approved core. IFU Deep-Dive : expanded procedures, cleaning/sterilization, troubleshooting trees. Custom : let us know what you need. What we need to start (send these if available) Intended Use / Indications for Use (draft is fine). Device description and any CAD or reference geometry (we can work with redacted exports). Key risks and controls you want reflected (a short risk summary works). Draft IFU sections or known user tasks/environments. Evidence summaries for any benefit statements you plan to keep. Brand basics (logo, type, color) for commercial outputs. Mini-FAQ Can you work without CAD? Yes. We can build schematic line-art or clean proxies and swap in real geometry later or we can model anything from photographs, sketches or other source materials. Our IFU and claims are still evolving. Is that a problem? We design to the strictest version first, then relax for marketing if/when approved. The revision process can adjust to your process, however. You can drive these decisions. How do you handle confidentiality? We work under NDA, keep compartmentalized file access, and can avoid sensitive internals by using schematic layers when required. Next step Email

The challenge is consistent across the product lifecycle. Early-stage companies need to communicate mechanism of action to secure funding. Companies in regulatory review need to demonstrate safety and efficacy clearly. Companies entering the market need to show clinical value to buyers who have limited time and competing priorities. The Environment Medical technology decisions involve multiple stakeholders with different expertise levels. An investor may understand markets but not biomechanics. A regulatory reviewer may understand clinical data but need to see how a device functions in context. A surgeon may need to understand a procedure before agreeing to use a new instrument. Text and static images often fail to convey how a device works, how it interacts with anatomy, or why it represents an improvement over existing approaches. Visual demonstration compresses this understanding. The Solution California Technical Media has operated since 2012, completing more than 1,600 projects across medical device, defense, aerospace, and industrial sectors. Our clients have included Edwards Lifesciences, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and medical technology companies ranging from pre-funding startups to established manufacturers. We produce technical animation for: Investor presentations — mechanism of action demonstrated visually for funding pitches FDA and regulatory submissions — device function and clinical context shown clearly Sales and adoption materials — procedure visualization for physician education Training and documentation — animated surgical and operational procedures To discuss whether our work addresses your communication requirements: Schedule a Meeting Email us at

What are those values? We wholeheartedly support and appreciate industry. Energy – oil, gas, coal, nuclear, and increasingly renewable – powers our civilization. Ever-improved technology . We recognize it’s not ever-improving technology, because it’s not improving on its own as a given. It is being improved by you, the scientists and engineers. We don’t take it for granted and we appreciate it. Supply chains. The incredible efficiency achieved by the supply chains connecting our world. Mining and manufacturing – we are awed by the engineering and supply chains required to locate, extract, purify and transform raw materials into high technology goods we use today. Robotics . Robotics save human time, and thus human lives. In past generations, these lives were spent performing routine, mind-numbing and body-breaking work. Today, people are freed to pursue meaningful interests and careers, and will be even more so in the future. Construction. Communication. Technical solutions that have taken years to design must be understood in minutes. A capability that cannot be understood quickly is unlikely to advance through acquisition pathways, regardless of its technical merit. DoW’s interest in specific new Topic Areas is both growing and accelerating. Companies that want to move quickly and outcompete others to take advantage of these opportunities must translate complex technical capabilities into visual demonstrations that communicate mechanism, function, and operational relevance within the constraints of rapid acquisition timelines. The Acquisition Environment "Today, the risk of moving too slow is far greater than any risk associated with rapid change. We must evolve. We must take risks. We must solve problems." — Gen. Bernard Schriever The acquisition community operates under well-documented pressure to accelerate capability delivery. China's advancement in counter-space weapons and other domains is occurring at "breathtaking speed," creating what Gen. Stephen Whiting, Commander of U.S. Space Command, has described as "a window of vulnerability." The DoW is streamlining grants and acquisitions. For acquisition professionals, this environment demands quickly finding and evaluating solutions that address Topic Areas of interest yet evaluating them correctly. Programs funded today must deliver. Technologies that fail to transition from prototype to operational capability are not only wasted investment but strategic risk. For private companies, a major factor early in the process is presenting in minutes what took years to design and build. Technical complexity makes it difficult to convey capability to non-technical stakeholders whose approval and funding are required for advancement. California Technical Media addresses this barrier directly. The Solution Founded by a Veteran, California Technical Media has operated since 2012, completing more than 1,600 projects across defense, aerospace, medical device, and industrial sectors. Our clients included Blackwater, IntelliSense Systems, Siemens, multiple NASA missions including Artemis IV, Iron Horse Firearms, and many others. You forgot to tell them (joke) that they are an ideal client profile, so instead they live their own lives. In those lives, your product is one of many options, including the option to do nothing , postpone a decision and kick the can forward. What kind of decisions do people NOT postpone? Decisions with a clear path to resolving a want and sometimes a need. A clear path needs to be perfectly understood, and – perhaps surprisingly – even your own clients do not fully understand your products . They understand enough to buy, but not fully. And plenty more people also partially understand your products, but not enough to buy. Disagree? Do you fully understand your own vehicle? Fully ? Your vehicle has design decisions and material choices that make it that much more desirable to you: in terms of safety, weight, or what have you. You would have bought it sooner had you known, but you didn’t and still don’t. You knew enough to buy, but some of its value was left unknown, unshown, and the manufacturer left money on the table. It is the same for every product from a space telescope to a smartphone case. It is the same for yours. We unlock value hidden in products . Start at the beginning. People are trying to meet their own goals. Sometimes they need tools to meet these goals, and some of those times they need to buy the tools. They form an understanding of what they need those tools to do and go looking for where to get them. They hope to find a tool that matches this set of criteria. Often it’s more than what fits on a datasheet. That’s where you and we come in. Our job in working together is to understand this wish list. The more accurately and completely we understand it, the closer your product will match expectations. Then we begin creating. Those same people looking for ways to meet their goals need to fully, confidently understand how your product, your technology is the tool they need. Especially when it comes to technology. This is especially true with technology. It is not self-evident. It’s bought for its capabilities but datasheets only scratch the surface. There is no end to substandard products that nominally meet the specs only to prove unreliable and deficient in the field. And there are tools and machines that reliably serve for generations. If you make well-designed, high-quality products, it would be a shame and unfair to lose this battle. But how to win it against copycat competitors whose product design is skin-deep and industry customers who only scratch the surface with their research? Take the research to them. Showthem the features, the designs, the capabilities, the reliability, and everything you put into your product that copycats and knockoffs did not. It’s more than the datasheet. Our job is to make sure your prospects understand the difference so they become your clients. …Conveying a lot of information… You understand it – now what? You are selling complex technology that took months or years to create and years or decades to perfect. The hurdle is that you know your products. You’ve worked with them for years. You may have even designed them. You know the design decisions, material choices, and specs inside and out – and why these things matter. But your prospects don’t. They haven’t lived with your products like you have, and usually, unfortunately, they don’t want to spend a lot of time to learn, even if they need it. Attention spans are contracting amid the soundbite tsunami of our day. But they still need to genuinely understand it in order to buy. Animation does it best. The challenge: condense months, years of design decisions, capabilities, features, options, applications, and specs into something that people can really, genuinely understand – within minutes. What are the options? Datasheets – but they touch the surface. Photos, videos – they show the product, even show it in operation, but the key is what’s inside and there is no way to show it completely. A video will never explain an engine. Diagrams – good for concepts, but still once-sided. Text – if only people had the focus and mental discipline to get into it. Voice – easy to record but hard to understand technical specifics. What’s left? The solution that combines all of these options into one: 3D animation. Your prospects will see more than photos and videos can show. They can see the impossible shot of x-ray vision, product cutaways and transparencies. They can see product operation at any magnification. Microscopic molecular structure in one shot and the entire product in the text. They can see the invisible shot of electromagnetic fields, invisible gasses and other invisible forces, influences and effects – akin to a diagram but much better, not abstractly, and as part of the product. They can hear professionally recorded narration that explains what is shown on the screen and text that supports and explains it alongside. Animation not only combines all other options into one but does it synergistically, with the final product better than the sum of its many parts. The result? A concise, accurate, memorable way to truly, genuinely understand your product and retain this understanding. Greater sales tomorrow begin with your decision now. Only action drives results. Building on our company’s entire history and experience, we turn complex procedures into clear, visual, step-by-step learning built for real-world use. Who This Is For Medtech clinical education teams launching or updating devices. Hospital/ASC education leads standardizing staff onboarding and competencies. Patient education managers (providers, digital health, pharma support programs). Small teams who need a complete kit fast; large enterprises who need scale, governance, and LMS integration. Fun Fact! We have created a startup’s entire medical library of over 150 separate chairside patient education videos for dental clinics for use at over dental 11,000 clinics nationwide. The startup was later acquired by a NASDAQ-listed company. Typical Issues We Solve New procedure/device launch or updated IFU. High error or variability in a few critical steps. Creating training materials for an LMS (SCORM/xAPI). Inconsistent field-trainer delivery; support tickets or complaints from end users. Language expansion (multilingual rollouts). Audit findings or new policy that requires retraining. Deliverables You Can Expect Step-by-step micro-modules (2–6 minute long) with 2D/3D animations and on-screen callouts. Procedure walkthroughs (live action plus overlays, or full CG) aligned to IFU/SOP. Mechanism of action or “why it matters” segments to anchor correct decisions in context. Job aids and quick-reference : printable checklists, tray setup guides, QR cards to modules. We do that, too. Assessments : knowledge checks, decision points, and remediation paths. Multilingual subtitles/voice, captions, and transcripts. Value and Outcomes Shorter time-to-competency and fewer refreshes needed. Lower error rates at known “red-flag” steps. Consistent delivery across sites, shifts, and trainers. Easier adoption for new sites and external partners. Measurable progress : completions, scores, and step-level misunderstandings surfaced. Suggested Process Here is a standard process for these kinds of projects, although we can follow your lead to meet your specific requirements. SOP/IFU audit & critical-step map Identify where errors, variance, or confusion occur; define success criteria. Scripts & storyboards Plain-language voiceover + visual frames; confirm terminology and do/don’t boundaries. Prototype module Produce one representative segment to lock style, pacing, and density. Full production 2D/3D production, accessibility, captions, and localization. Options That Fit Different Teams Starter (Small Team / First Launch) One procedure kit: storyboard → prototype → 3–6 micro-modules + job aids. Growth (Multi-Site Rollout) Procedure family + variants, multilingual, assessments, analytics dashboard, content update plan. Enterprise (Governed Library) Content model and design system, review workflows, versioning, localization pipeline, rapid hot-fix path. Next Step In short, we make training that busy clinicians and patients can follow the first time that is visual, specific, and measurable. If you share the SOP and the few steps that tend to go wrong, we’ll map the fix and show you exactly what the modules will look like before full build. Email

Major cases are landing on your desk with impossible deadlines. Clients expect consistent visual quality that matches your brand standards, but you can't hire fast enough to meet demand spikes… Or maybe trial graphics just aren’t your specialty. But nevertheless, meanwhile, you're turning away profitable work or disappointing existing clients because your graphics capacity is maxed out. If this sounds familiar, you need a white label partner who understands your business model and can deliver seamlessly under your brand. Twenty Years of Behind-the-Scenes Excellence California Technical Media has been the invisible engine behind successful litigation support companies nationwide for over 12 years. Founded and led by Ari Zahavi, J.D., with two decades of courtroom visualization experience, we've perfected the art of white label production that enhances your reputation rather than competing with it. We've worked across every practice area where visual storytelling wins cases: personal injury mechanisms, patent claim illustrations, construction failure sequences, vehicle collision reconstructions, crime scene analysis, medical procedure animations, and product liability demonstrations. Financials? Yup. Insurance? Plenty of those, too. Celebrity cases? Had those. Dog bites? Delivery vehicles? Police departments? Space? No matter what type of case walks through your door, we’ve probably done it and we can visualize it under your brand. Your Competitive Advantage Beyond additional revenue, become a more holistic and convenient service provider by including this valuable additional service. While your competitors turn down work or refer out, you will be able to accept additional work and gain additional time with your clients with opportunities for growing your business. Your clients see you as the full-service solution they need, and your margins reflect the value you're providing. Protecting Your Business Relationship We understand litigation support means handling sensitive case materials and maintaining strict confidentiality. Our NDA protocols and access controls are designed for the legal industry. Our success comes from your success. Ready to Scale? The best time to establish a white label partnership is before you desperately need it. When that big case with the impossible deadline lands on your desk, you want systems already in place. Let's discuss how we can become your invisible graphics department. We'll need to understand your brand guidelines, typical project types, and service level expectations to design a partnership that works for your business model. Contact Ari Zahavi, J.D.
