There are 4 exhibit halls, a club house and meeting room. Includes 5 livestock barns, arena, 2 ponds, grand stand, natural amphitheater, full service RV park and ample parking. Building rentals Rental Rates Mark Twain Hall The building is perfect for large wedding receptions, social gatherings or trade shows. The building is 12,800 sq. ft. There is a large stage and dressing rooms. Dining capacity is 850, assembly is 1,800 people. Cost: $1,150 With Kitchen, tables, chairs $1,250. per day. Frogeteria The Frogeteria Club House is complete with a commercial kitchen and walk-in refrigeration. The kitchen has commercial stoves and ovens. The building is 2,800 sq. ft. with an outdoor deck over looking the arena. 150 guests can dine. Rental includes round tables and white chairs. Cost: $750 per day. Cleaning Deposit" $250 Main Stage The Open Air Stage dimensions are 50’ x 50’. The bleachers seat 3200 and there is a boxed seat area. There are 3 dressing rooms and 2 restrooms. $1,050 a day $1,550 for a day gated events. Lawn Areas, Ponds and More Frogtown has 2 ponds, beautiful garden areas, Native American bark houses. lawn stage and large patio with stage and much more. The rent on these areas depend on the use and what equipment is needed. Tom Sawyer Hall The metal building has 9,800 sq. ft. This building has adjacent outdoor restrooms. We have portable swamp coolers for the building. Cost: $850 Becky Thatcher Hall The building is perfect for small social gatherings or seminars. The hall is 1800 sq. ft. Cost: $525 Ranch House The rustic metal building has a small kitchen and air conditioning. It has a large patio area and small stage. Cost: $525 per day. with Meeting room and Memorial Pavilion: $1,150 Frogtown Arena The Arena dimensions are 290' x 125'. It has a announcers box, 7 chute gates and several holding pens. $500 a day (no power or arena maintenance included) $2,000 a day with lights $2,500 for a day gated events. Livestock Barns There are 5 covered barns, 1 permanent show ring, lights, 2 offices, cattle scale and bleachers. Tower Pavilion $625 Tie Barns and Goat Barns $424 each Swine Barn $625 Small Animal Barn with office $625 Meeting Room Small conference room, heating and air. The room is 20 x 40 and has a restroom. Cost: $375 Memorial Pavilion Covered barn with cement floors and lighting. Arena Committee The Committee focuses on events that take place in the Arena. They also work on repairs to the Arena. Their main focuses are Western Horse Events, the Junior Horse Show, the Saddle Queen competition and the Derby. Tillie Mann is the Arena Director. This includes electrical and plumbing repairs. They also assist by mowing lawns and doing repairs to the facility. Frog Jump Committee The Frog Jump Committee facilitates our signature event, the frog jump. Each year thousand of visitors flock to the fairgrounds to see our famous jumping Frogs. The committee manages the annual livestock show and auction in association with the 39th DAA and Friends of the Calaveras County Fair. The 39th DAA is the legal entity and has authority over any issue as deemed in State Rules. The CEO of the Association works closely with Chairperson of the Committee to ensure proper procedures are in place. The JLC meets 10 months of the year, the 4th Monday of the month.
