The walk to the beach and 3rd Street Promenade was doable and a good way to get exercise for the day. The hotel is on a bus line for those that do not want to walk and of course there were taxis available. The hotel rooms were airy and clean. I particularly liked the imitation wood floor and the shutters on the windows. This gave the room a more coastal feeling. Anonymous There are three things that happened that were extraordinary. On the first day I drank two cups of decaf coffee. The next day, without asking, the housekeeper left me two extra decaf coffee pods. Second, I have a cold. At night I used a tissue and left it on the side of the bed. The next day, the housekeeper left an extra box of tissue on the bedside table. Rather than leaving me one little bottle of shampoo, they left me two. I travel for a living. These small acts are truly extraordinary. Please recognize and reward them on my behalf. Do you have smoking rooms? No, the entire hotel is non-smoking. Do you allow pets? No, only ADA service animals are allowed. Do you have elevators? The hotel has 2 elevators extending from the garage to the guest floors. &nbsp;Room keys are required to access guest floors, but they are not needed to access the lobby from the garage. Do you have stairways? The hotel has 2 external stairways that lead to guest floors. &nbsp;Guests can exit the building to go down the stairways. &nbsp;But, to use the stairways to access their rooms, guests must contact the front desk. &nbsp;Doors on each level are locked from the outside. &nbsp; Do you have a pool or hot tub? No. Do you have a fitness center? Yes, the fitness center is open from 6:00 AM to 11:00&nbsp;PM. &nbsp;Please stop by the front desk for a key,&nbsp;there is no charge.&nbsp; Do you have a business center? Yes, guests have 24-hour access to computers and printers in the lobby. &nbsp;Copy and fax services can be provided by the front desk. &nbsp;There may be a charge for these services. Do you have a gift shop? No, but snack/soda/water and ice machines are located on all guest floors. Do you have laundry facilities? No, but there is a laundromat 4 blocks from the hotel. &nbsp;And, the hotel provides laundry and dry cleaning services through an outside vendor. Does the hotel have a restaurant or bar? At the moment the attached restaurant location is not in operation. Once a new restaurant is established we will update this section with their information.&nbsp; Does the restaurant provide room service? No, but prepaid orders can be delivered to the front desk. Does the hotel serve breakfast? No. &nbsp;But, since the restaurant closed their doors, and as a courtesy for this inconvenience the hotel has been providing complimentary Grab &amp; Go items in the lobby&nbsp;every morning from 7:00 AM to 10:00&nbsp;AM. &nbsp;Once the restaurant reopens for breakfast, this service will be discontinued. Can you store luggage and, if so, is there a charge? Luggage storage is complimentary for guests with a confirmed reservation. We are happy to store luggage on the day of arrival or departure; however, overnight storage is not available. Do you accept packages? Yes, please contact the hotel for a copy of our package policy. How far is the hotel from the beach? We are located on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and 20th Street, 1.7 miles from the beach. What is in the area surrounding your hotel? Our neighborhood is comprised of dwellings, medical buildings, and small businesses. Do you provide any shuttle service? The hotel does not have any shuttle service to the airport, medical facilities, or anywhere else. Is the hotel near any public transportation? Across the street is a bus stop and buses run frequently on a daily basis. &nbsp;The metro station is 5 blocks from the hotel. Does the hotel have parking and, if so, is there a charge? The hotel has a 2-level underground garage with space for standard-sized vehicles only. Please note the maximum clearance is 7 feet, we are unable to accommodate oversized vehicles.&nbsp;The parking charge is &#36;19.50 plus 18% tax (&#36;23.01 inclusive) per car, per night .&nbsp; How do I get to the hotel? Please see our Maps &amp; Directions page. Do you have any resort fees? No. What are the check in and check out times? Check in time is after 3:00 PM and check out time is before 12 NOON. Do you accept cash? Yes. &nbsp;But, reservations must be guaranteed to a valid credit card at time of booking. &nbsp;Also, whether or not guests pay with cash, upon arrival all guests must present a debit or credit card that has a chip, as well as a valid photo ID. &nbsp;The name on the ID must match the name on the card. What is your cancellation policy? Most reservations may be cancelled without penalty until 3:00 PM on the day prior to arrival. Some exceptions may apply. Yes, but they can only be requested. &nbsp;They cannot be guaranteed. Do you have cribs? The hotel has pack &lsquo;n plays on request. Do you have any sleeper sofas, cots, or rollaway beds? No. Do windows open and/or do they have screens? All guestroom windows can be opened and they have screens. Do guestrooms have balconies? No, but guests can access two sundecks that are on the 4th floor. Do guestrooms have views? Guestrooms face either Santa Monica Boulevard, 20th Street, the courtyard, or southward. Do guestrooms have bathtubs? Except for ADA rooms, all guestrooms have bathtub/shower combinations. Do guestrooms have kitchens, microwaves, mini fridges, or coffee/tea makers? Cooking is not permitted so there are no kitchens or microwaves. &nbsp;However, guestrooms do have a mini fridge and coffee/tea maker (complimentary coffee/tea provided). Do guestrooms have a safe? All guestrooms have an electronic safe. Do guestrooms have air conditioning and heating? All guestrooms have individual air conditioning/heating units that guests can adjust for temperature control.
