While he attended Pomona College in Southern California, he enjoyed playing college football and was team captain for two years. He also received the Scholar-Athlete Award for his graduating class. After he completed a degree in Biology, Dr. Lagemann earned a Fulbright Scholarship to study Ecology in Poland and Norway. Dr. Lagemann graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2015. As a dental student, he took every opportunity to volunteer and provide dental care to the underserved community in San Francisco. He also participated in multiple dental aid trips, both locally and abroad, where persons who otherwise had no access to dental care received free, professional care. Upon graduation, he received the San Francisco Dental Society’s Ethics and Professionalism Award. Dr. Lagemann completed advanced training in general dentistry during a one-year General Practice Residency in Fresno, CA. He treated both veterans at the Fresno VA Hospital and patients with a variety of dental needs at the Fresno Community Medical Center. Dr. Lagemann is a life-long learner who actively participates in continuing education courses to ensure that he is constantly improving his practice. He is an active member and committee chair of the Santa Clara County Dental Society. Dr. Lagemann is married to Dr. Sarah Murray, who is also a dentist and practices both at Lagemann Family Dentistry and in Sunnyvale. The Lagemanns welcomed their newest additions with the birth of twin boys in January 2021. In his free time, Dr. Lagemann enjoys spending time with his family on the coast, improving his barbecue techniques, working on his golf game, and wrangling his three toddlers. Dr. Sarah Murray Meet Dr. Murray Dr. Sarah Murray was raised in Saratoga, CA and attended Saratoga High School with Dr. Lagemann. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 2011. She also studied classical music and minored in fine art. Following graduation, Dr. Murray attended Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. After earning her dental degree in 2014, she spent her first year volunteering part-time at a non-profit dental clinic in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. Dr. Murray is married to Dr. Lagemann, and they welcomed twin boys to their family in January 2021.
