Lucky Buddies Pet Sitting provides high-quality pet care services for all pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, rabbits, tortoise and much more. We specialize in overnight boarding, daycare, dog walking, drop-in visits to your home and adventure hikes. We offer a safe, fun, and structured environment for pets while their owners are away, ensuring they receive personalized attention and exercise. Our services include crate and now crate-free boarding options, neighborhood walks, and Buddy Hikes, where dogs enjoy on-leash adventures in nature. Additionally, we provide add-ons such as baths and customized care to meet each pet's unique needs. Our focus is on creating a stress-free, enriching experience for pets while offering peace of mind to their owners. ​ Why did your business start? Lucky Buddies Pet Sitting was founded by Yesica, inspired by her deep passion for animals and a life-changing personal experience. When her dog, Lucky, became paralyzed, she gained a new perspective on pet care, realizing the importance of compassionate, personalized attention—especially when owners are away. This journey motivated her to create a business where every pet is treated like family, providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Her goal is to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their furry companions are in caring hands while offering services that go beyond basic care to enhance pets’ overall well-being. ​ ​ ​ Does you accept Intact pets? Lucky Buddies Pet Sitting will not accept intact pets if they are over 12 months of age. However, if your pet starts showing signs of aggression, dominance, territorial behavior or mounting after 7 months of age, they may need to pause any services until no longer intact. Non-spayed females who are in season cannot visit Lucky Buddies during that time. What is the maximum number of dogs you take per day? We take in about 15-45 dogs for doggy day care. We take 12-18 dogs for overnight boarding based on size. What is the employee/dog ratio? 1 person per 10 dogs ​ Is there a deposit for doggy day care/overnight stays? For overnight boarding, there is a 50% deposit due at booking. 100% of payment is due at drop off or your card on file will be automatically charged. What is needed before a day care visit? Your pet profile must be fully filled out with vaccination records on file before doggy day care or overnight boarding  services. Vaccination records need to be attached on pets profile under "vaccination tab" via the portal. Required vaccinations are Rabies, DAPP and Bordetella. We highly recommend the canine influenza vaccine. Can my pet still attend doggy day care if they are sick? Please do not bring your dog if they are not feeling well. Also, please notify us immediately if your pet has caught a sickness that is contagious to protect the rest of the buddies. What kind of animals do you care for? We care for dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, tortoises, guinea pigs & lizards. If you have a pet that is not listed here feel free to contact us with care instructions and we can let you know if we are able to accommodate care for your pet. Are you able to separate my dog if he does not get along with other pets? We can separate your pet if needed to first warm them up to the team due to size or being shy. However, we do not take in aggressive pets and are unable to keep them  separated. When are payments due and what is your cancellation policy? Thank you for your business. We’ll keep their tails waggin’ Payment Due: 100% Balance is due within 24-hours of your scheduled visit  Overnight Boarding: 50% deposit is due at booking confirmation    Tips are never expected but always appreciated.   Our cancellation policy is as follows: *No call, no shows 100% of invoice due for all services up 7 days will be charged   *Packages are non-refundable or transferable  Overnight boarding service:  * If cancellation occurs with-in 7 days of scheduled visit a 45% fee will be charged per day, up to $250 per pet Grooming:  If cancellation occurs with-in 24 hours of scheduled appointment a $35 fee per pet will be charged All other services: * If cancellation occurs with-in 24-hours of your scheduled visit a $20 fee per pet will be charged   Please note: We Auto Charge when payment has not been submitted by customer. We are a small business and only take in a number of pets per day. Therefore, when not cancelled in a timely manner it affects us being able to take in another pet so we thank you you for letting us know about your cancellation with as much time in advance as possible.   Thank you Are you insured and bonded? Yes! We are insured. We do our best to create a safe, fun environment for our pets, employees, and customers with 24/7 supervision and safety measures. However, in rare circumstances, a bite or injury can occur. If another pet is bitten, the owner of the offending dog will be responsible for any vet visit fees. Are you a break-away collar facility & what is a break-away collar? Yes! We require a break-away collar for dogs at our facility. A breakaway collar is a safety collar designed to release automatically under pressure. In a daycare setting, this is especially important because: If one dog’s jaw, tooth, or paw gets caught in another dog’s collar during play, or in a kennel the collar will unlatch instead of tightening This helps prevent choking, panic, or serious injury It reduces the risk of dogs getting stuck together during rough or playful interactions Because of this safety feature, breakaway collars are widely considered a safer option for group environments like daycare, and many facilities encourage or require them to help prevent accidents during playtime. Is there parking available? Yes, plenty of parking when arriving. ​ ​ Do you provide food for my pet? We are more than happy to feed your pet if you wish to purchase a feeding option. However, we do prefer you bring them their own food to avoid their tummy getting upset or other food allergies. Is there a late fee policy? There is a 15-minute grace period before a late fee is charged. 16-30 Min +$15 30-45 Min +$30 Are dogs crated at any time of the day/night (overnight boarding)?  Buddies are crated for our overnight boarding services. They are also crated during lunch time for about 1-2 hours for nap time. During doggy day care, they will be crated if necessary based on length of service or if nap time is needed based on our dog handler's recommendation. Resting is important and helps your pet be on their best behavior. Do you take dogs with anxiety or limited social engagements with other dogs? We do our best with dogs with anxiety or limited social engagements with other dogs. However, after a few sessions and if your pet puts stress on other dogs due to excessive growling, aggression, barking, or crying we would be unable to accommodate them. Our goal is to always keep a fun and safe environment for all pets. Is your location a facility? Yes it is  What does your feeding schedule look like for overnight boarding? Breakfast 7:30 AM - 8AM  Lunch 11AM - 12PM Dinner 4PM - 5PM Do you accept donations? We love donations and we are extremely thankful for them. We accept donations for all kinds of pets & holiday decorations. If we are unable to use any items we will donate them to a shelter or other pets in need. That’s why we ensure all overnight buddies have a calm, safe space to recharge. Dogs are comfortably kenneled at night in their own individual space We provide crates of various sizes to fit all breeds Each space includes access to fresh water, food, and a quiet environment Soothing instrumental music is played to help promote relaxation   Suite Room Boarding (Crate-Free Option) ✨ We also offer Suite Room Boarding, a crate-free experience for pets who qualify. This option provides a more open, comfortable environment while still maintaining structure and safety. Suite boarding is ideal for dogs who: Are comfortable in a crate-free setting Can settle and relax independently Do well in a calm, supervised environment 📌 A successful evaluation or trial is required before booking this option to ensure it’s the right fit for your pet.   If Your Dog Isn’t Crate Trained No worries! After your pet’s evaluation, we’ll discuss the best approach based on their comfort and behavior. Many dogs adjust well, especially after a full day of activity, and come to enjoy having their own cozy space.
