What are the protocols for public spaces? There are hand-sanitizing stations and alcohol rubs strategically placed throughout the hotel’s public areas that will be refreshed often. We have provided tissues and additional trash receptacles in public areas. There are dedicated staff members who will clean high-touch points such as our front desk, elevator banks, coffee stations, and doorknobs in the public areas, ensuring that all are cleaned bi-hourly. We are subject to and will enforce the public health orders that are issued. During this time, guidelines have been put in place limiting the number of people in one area. What are the protocols for guests and guest rooms? We are offering an optional pre-check-in process to all guests in order to reduce time spent in public areas. Please contact us in advance. Face masks will be required by all guests in public areas. Face masks and gloves will be available to guests upon check-in and during the remainder of their stay. Concierge Services will be conducted over the phone. Guests are encouraged to check out of their rooms via the phone. What are the protocols for employees? Employees are receiving daily temperature check. Employees are required to stay home if they are showing systems of illness. They have been made aware of their available sick leave and additional leave provided by the State and Federal Government. Employees will be allowed to carry a negative sick leave balance if needed. No employee will lose their job if they are rendered unable to work due to illness or exposure to illness in their households and familial networks. Employees will be provided their own work tools and are not permitted to share phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment with one another. This is to prevent the potential spread of illness. Employees are required to practice social distancing guidelines throughout the property. Please review the pet policies, rules, and guidelines listed below.   Pet Policy: The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel only allows dogs on the premises of the hotel, no other pets are permitted. In order to accommodate our guests, particularly those relocating their residences or otherwise having extended stays, Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel allows guests to have their dog in the guest room with them. We recognize that boarding your dog for an extended time is not only expensive but deprives both you and your dog of companionship and normal interaction. Because there will be guests checking into the same room after you and your dog leave, we must take certain steps to clean the room in order to make it available to other guests. After a guest with a dog checks out, the hotel must clean the carpets, drapes, bedspread and other linens; the hotel must fumigate the room to remove any fleas or other pests that may have been inadvertently introduced to the room while your dog resided with us. Because we do this cleaning after check-out, this charge can vary depending on your length of stay. For this reason, we add a non-refundable cleaning charge of $125.00 to your account upon check-in for dogs 50lbs and under. In addition, you are liable in the event your dog damages room furnishings, including carpets and soft goods. Your credit card will be charged for the reasonable cost of repairs.   Pet Rules & Guidelines: Only (1) one household dog per room. Dogs must weigh less than 50 lbs. Dogs may not be left unattended in the room at any time. Dogs must be under the owner's control and may not disturb other guests. Any dogs that are noisy, dangerous, intimidating or destructive will not be tolerated and will not be allowed to stay in the hotel. Dog owner is responsible for any damage. Dog owners are required to pick up after their pets and properly dispose of all dog droppings. For the safety of our housekeepers and maintenance staff and to avoid your dog running out the door, we ask that you confine your dog in a carrier or be present when your room is being serviced. We require that your room is serviced by our housekeepers at least (3) three times per week if you are a long-term guest. Can I smoke at the hotel? Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel is a 100% non-smoking hotel.  Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property including guestroom patios or balconies. The registered guest is responsible for any smoking inside or near the room.  A non-refundable smoking fee of $350 will be charged to the credit card on file if there is evidence of smoking in or near the guestrooms. Can I host an event at the hotel? Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel provides a prestigious setting for corporate and social events. Our Bel Air hotel offers more than 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space including a spectacular 4,5000-square-foot ballroom, flexible meeting rooms and stylish outdoor terraces. You must notify the hotel at least 24 hours prior to your new departure date if earlier than originally confirmed to avoid one-night’s room and tax penalty. Is there an age minimum to check-in? You must be 18 years old with a valid ID to check in to our hotel. Can I ship packages to the hotel prior to or during my stay?
