We're also hoping to reduce the administrative burden of Marin's hardworking nonprofits with our new Community Power Initiative.

We piloted Marin’s first guaranteed income program, making a world of difference for 125 low-income moms. We supported thousands of young people in their journey into and through college, most being the first in their families to do so. We ensured access to nurturing and safe daycare. The Marin Carbon project was the genesis of carbon farming and is now widespread. Safe Routes to Schools was adopted in counties nationwide, and our Green and Healthy Homes initiative attracted millions in federal funds for safe, healthy, and efficient housing for low-income families. When COVID-19 struck, we rallied our communities to raise over $10 million for emergency rental assistance. It’s our responsibility and honor to be forever committed to the growth and well-being of Marin, this place we call home. Here we walk you through what we're thinking about, the actions we're undertaking, insightful research and the impact we're having in the community.
