"An office likes this makes you excited to go to your dental appointments! I've always had a great experience at Mountain View Smiles. The entire staff is friendly and does a great job of making me feel comfortable. Even when I don't have cavities or infections, the hygienist and Dr. Pirouznia take the time to talk to me about other things they have noticed such as plaque in certain areas and give me tips to prevent it. If you're nervous to see a dentist during this pandemic, I can assure you this office is handling it very well with careful precautions in place. I felt very safe in great hands."

They're also very thorough with their examinations and make sure to take their time to check your teeth, so you can just feel that you're in good hands. I have not had any fillings done here, but have already been to this place three times since moving and each time they remember everything about my teeth, for example which one is sensitive and where to avoid cleaning too hard, so you know they're taking care of you. If you're new in the area, I highly recommend you check them out!"

They are very friendly and always remember you, so it feels like you're coming in to catch up with your friends. If you're new in the area, I highly recommend you check them out! " Dasha Kash " Friendly front desk and a very thorough doctor! Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you have seen this during your visit to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe. Our office follows and goes beyond infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example: Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask for some screening questions . You will be asked those same questions again when you are in the office. We will be checking our team’s body temperature on a daily basis. We will be checking your body temperature as you come into our office. Our staff will be wearing complete isolation gear. Our operatories will be isolated per patient and completely disinfected with an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant. We have a hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, and so forth since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. There's so much that can be done these days to improve the appearance of a person's smile — at any age. From powerful, professional whitening treatments to amazingly realistic porcelain veneers to state-of-the-art dental implants, there's a wide range of exciting possibilities. The first step in any smile makeover is a thorough dental examination to make sure that your cosmetic problems really are just that, and not a sign of underlying dental disease. Once your health has been established, your smile can be cosmetically enhanced in a variety of ways. Cosmetic & General Dentistry Procedures Modern dentistry offers a wide range of services to make sure your teeth stay healthy, function well and look great. These procedures include: Cleanings & Oral Exams, to keep your teeth and gums healthy, and catch early signs of dental disease Cosmetic Bonding, to repair small chips or cracks Crowns & Bridgework, to replace large amounts of lost tooth structure and/or missing teeth Dental Implants, for the longest-lasting tooth replacement available today Extractions, to remove unhealthy teeth that cannot be saved Fillings, to restore decayed teeth Inlays & Onlays, to fill teeth with larger cavities Invisalign Clear Aligners, for highly discreet orthodontic treatment Oral Cancer Screenings, to detect a dangerous disease that can be cured if caught early Orthodontic Treatment, to move teeth into the right position Porcelain Veneers, for repairing larger chips and cracks, and reshaping teeth Removable Dentures, to help you smile again Root Canal Treatment, to rescue diseased teeth Sealants, to help prevent cavities Teeth Whitening, to brighten a faded or discolored smile TMD Treatment, for pain in the jaw area that can interfere with biting and chewing Tooth-Colored Fillings, for a completely natural, healthy look Tooth Decay Prevention, so you keep your natural teeth as long as possible When to Visit the Dentist Many people only go to the dentist when something is wrong. That is truly a shame, because they are missing out on so many preventive services that can save discomfort — and expense — down the road. Regular dental visits are essential to make sure oral health problems — from tooth decay to oral cancer — are detected and treated in a timely manner. Some individuals may need to see the dentist more often than others to stay on top of problems like plaque buildup and gum disease, but everyone should go at least once per year. Your regular dental visits will include a thorough oral exam to check the health of your teeth and gums; and oral cancer screening to spot any suspicious signs early; and a professional cleaning to remove stubborn deposits and make your teeth look and feel great. So don't miss out on the many benefits dentistry offers you and your family! Your Smile Makeover The most important job you have as a member of your own smile makeover team is to communicate exactly what you don't like about your smile and how you'd like it to be different. Before the first consultation, give some thought to the following questions: What do you like or dislike about the color, size, shape and spacing of your teeth? Are you pleased with how much your teeth show, both when you smile and when your lips are relaxed? Do you want teeth that are perfectly aligned and a bright “Hollywood White,” or would you prefer a more natural look with slight color, shape and shade variations? Would you like more or less of your gums to show when you smile? It is extremely helpful for you to bring in pictures you have collected — of smiles you like, smiles you don't like, and/or photos of the way your own smile used to look, if that's the result you're aiming for. Now is the time to get started on creating a smile that will make you feel as good as you look! Not only are veneers an attractive smile makeover treatment, the process can be enjoyable and fun with our friendly, experienced dentists and team members who put your comfort first. How Veneers Improve Smiles Porcelain Veneers are very fine shells that fit over the front surfaces of teeth. They are crafted from a safe porcelain dental material that looks and feels like your natural enamel. Our dentist designs the perfect shape for your smile, and then bonds these wafer-thin shells to each tooth. Once the bonding process is complete, you can use your veneered teeth to eat anything you want, and they are highly stain-resistant, too. What Veneers Can Do For You Most people choose porcelain veneers because they can correct crooked or misshapen teeth without the need for braces. Porcelain veneers are also very handy for masking tooth chips, tooth gaps, worn teeth, and tooth cracks. And since veneers can be customized to any shade, you can use them to brighten your smile, as well. The procedure that was once nicknamed the “Hollywood smile” is now easily accessible in just a few visits to our state-of-the-art dental practice. If you live in Mountain View, we invite you to come in for a Porcelain Veneers consultation. It will not cost you anything to talk to one of our talented smile makeover professionals about your options and to view veneer before and after photos Once Mountain View Dentist Dr. Geeta Pirouznia has had a chance to hear your goals and evaluate your dental health, we can make a personalized recommendation as to which procedure or procedures will give you the best results. After your porcelain veneers are complete, you will find yourself smiling bigger and more often. The confidence that comes from veneers and other cosmetic dentistry services is simply priceless. I felt very safe in great hands. " Dena Eslambolchizadeh " Great and caring dentist. They don't try to upsell things like teeth whitening etc. like some dentists do. " Simone Styr " Super friendly doctor. Spent plenty of time with me going over what I was doing right and I needed to improve on. " Ruben Schuckit " Kudos to Dr. Geeta and the staff for the outstanding job handling pandemics and keeping us safe! I was quiet comfortable with my visit and Dr Geeta was very gentle and comforting! " Ellie T " Dr Geeta is the best doctor ever: caring, professional and amazingly knowledgeable! I always look forward to seeing her pleasant smile! The entire staff are welcoming, professional and always provide the fist class service! " Peymaneh Shafiei " This place is a hidden gem. They are very friendly and always remember you, so it feels like you're coming in to catch up with your friends. If you're new in the area, I highly recommend you check them out! " Dasha Kash " Friendly front desk and a very thorough doctor! If you have one or more missing teeth, Mountain View Dentist Dr. Geeta Pirouznia can show you how dental implants can solve your problem permanently. For tooth replacement, there simply is no solution that is more durable or more lifelike than a custom-designed dental implant. If you have dealt with a missing tooth for years, you may be wondering why it is so important to fill that space now. When considering a tooth replacement solution, keep in mind that dental implants are the only comprehensive solution since they address both the visible missing tooth and the missing tooth root under the gum. The presence of a replacement tooth root not only anchors the new tooth in place, it also protects against bone loss since it is seated into the jaw bone. And the sooner you replace a missing tooth, the less likely your natural teeth are to shift out of place and create an unhealthy bite. Dental implants are a long-term investment. Unlike other cosmetic smile treatments that may need to be redone after several years, dental implants can last a lifetime if they are well cared for. Imagine you have an implant dentist’s appointment today and instead of apprehension, you feel a sense of calm and relaxation. Mountain View Dentist Dr. Geeta Pirouznia , has many years of training and real-world experience with dental implants. She will take the time to discuss their credentials, explain the implant process, and show you before and after photos of patients who have improved their smiles with amazing implant technology. We will also answer all your questions about implants and discuss the various types to help you choose the one that fits your needs. It is important that we present all possible treatments, so we will also discuss tooth replacement alternatives such as partial dentures, full dentures, and dental bridges. Patients from all over the country have visited Mountain View Dentist Dr. Geeta Pirouznia for top-notch dental implant results and service. Because now there’s breakthrough technology that lets you get the smile you always wanted without bands, brackets or wires. Thousands of people avoid orthodontics because they can’t stand the thought of wearing braces. Many would prefer crooked teeth due to the fear of wearing metal on their teeth or believe wearing braces will be uncomfortable. One of the solutions to this may be found by choosing Invisalign™, a solution that renders braces virtually invisible. What is Invisalign™ Invisalign™ is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces. Invisalign™ uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. Invisalign™ has been proven effective in clinical research and in orthodontic practices nationwide. Invisalign™ aligners are comfortable, low profile, custom made clear plastic trays. Most people may not even know you are wearing the aligners. As your teeth change and your smile improves, you will change aligners every two weeks, wearing them for 20-22 hours a day. Another great benefit to Invisalign, is that aligners can be removed to eat, drink, or brush your teeth. Advantages of Invisalign™ Clear Braces There are advantages of using Invisalign over traditional braces. Each aligner is only worn for a two week time frame, and appointments are only needed every six to eight weeks to pick up your next set of aligners. Also, because of the convenience of being able to remove your aligners before each meal, you do not have to worry about the hassle of food getting stuck between your teeth like with traditional braces. Learn more about Invisalign™ and other clear braces options when you visit Mountain View Smiles. If you're new in the area, I highly recommend you check them out! " Dasha Kash " Friendly front desk and a very thorough doctor!
