Portal Setup We set up a custom portal with all your project information. This will be your central hub for the project. Contract In the contract you will see the full scope of work that has been approved along with the project schedule and all pertinent information. Scheduling We will create a shoot day schedule and send to you ahead of the date to ensure we have enough time to complete all the scenes laid out in the storyboard. Shot List We will create a shot list to reference on the day of the shoot to ensure we are getting all scenes laid out in the storyboard. This is an internal document that can be seen upon request. Permitting If filming will take place on city property a permit may need to be obtained. If necessary we’ll apply for all permits. Costs for permitting will be included in the invoice. Scene Set-up We will visit or ask for photos of the location ahead of time to plan for each filming location. Each scene will require a 15-45 min set-up time depending on the complexity of the scene. Footage review You may see the scenes captured on the shoot day upon request. We will consult the shot list and may review the takes to ensure we have the best take. Breakdown Breakdown usually takes around 30 minutes and will be reflected in the schedule. Post-Production 2-8 weeks Resources Our Music Licensor Rough Cut Edit This first version is a basic edit that will be for shot placement and story arc. This version won’t include color grading, animations, or sound mixing. The focus is on the story and pacing. Once notes are received, we can move onto the next draft. We use an online review software that makes adding timestamped comments easy. Version 1 This draft will include completed notes from the rough cut as well as color grade, animations if applicable and sound mixing. Once notes are received, we can move onto the next draft. Version 2 This will be the last opportunity to give notes. Final Export The final video will be delivered in whichever format needed. If requested, final video will be uploaded to the file storage of your choice. Otherwise, we will provide a downloadable link of the final draft. We’re available for travel outside the Bay Area but a reasonable travel fee may apply. How long is the video creation process?
