The whole team seems very competent with many processes and procedures in place to ensure a smooth rental experience. We went over 3 months without a working laundry unit, waited weeks for basic fixes like a dishwasher, and even dealt with delays just to get a laundry key from the HOA with little to no assistance from tenant planet. More concerning, there were serious habitability issues--including mold and multiple instances without hot water--that were never properly addressed in a timebound manner. Upon moving in, the unit was covered in mold (our lease said the owners would not be held responsible for mold). Upon moving out, they charged us hundreds of dollars for the mold- so they aren&#039;t liable for the mold but we are?? The move-out process is where things became blatantly unacceptable. Menahil and Anthony managed our moveout process and it was a complete mess. It took them weeks to even acknowledge we were moving out, then Anthony showed up on the wrong date for our move our inspection without any type of notice our apology. During our walkthrough, we were explicitly told that any charges would be minimal (roughly $300-$500) and that the unit was left in good condition. Based on that, we paid for a professional cleaning service as instructed. Despite this, we were later hit with nearly double that amount in vague and inflated charges for cleaning, paint, and minor repairs--completely contradicting what was communicated in person. Then came the handling of our security deposit. Under California law, it must be returned within 21 days. Not only was it sent late, but we were met with contradictory statements, deflection, and denial even when we provided proof of the actual deposit date. At one point, they claimed the deposit wasn&#039;t late despite clear evidence showing otherwise. Communication deteriorated into delayed responses and repeated avoidance of direct questions. What stands out most is the complete lack of accountability.
