A minimum of 4 students per grade range (class) is needed for the class to start.  •    We charge by sessions (each session is 4 weeks long with the exception of Session 5 and Session 10). (@mh76updates) •    Any rain days are deducted from the next session's tuition.  Waiting lists •    Waiting lists are only valid through the school year you registered for and go by the order of the registration received. •    Students who are tennis members are given priority on the waiting lists.  Tennis Membership Benefits •    Tennis members receive early registration, priority on waiting lists, as well as a 10% discount on group classes, and a discount on private lessons.  •    Swim and Fitness members do not qualify for the benefits.  •    In order for students to receive the benefits above, the child needs to be a tennis member of the club as well. Players are competing at USTA 3.5+ level. OUR TENNIS COACHES TENNIS DIRECTOR Max Taylor Coach Max is a USPTA Elite Professional who manages tennis operations at the club. He specializes in junior development and players that he has worked with have gone on to compete at Stanford, Harvard, Yale, and other top universities. He competed for UC Santa Barbara where he played in four consecutive NCAA Division 1 Championships. As a junior, he was a top 40 national player throughout all age divisions. He competed in multiple Orange Bowls, and the Maze Cup. TENNIS OPERATIONS | ROG DEVELOPMENT Carmen Pham Coach Carmen specializes in developing elite junior players, as well as young talents from Red Ball to competitive tournament yellow ball tennis students. She was a successful National and NorCal player during her junior career, receiving a full athletic scholarship to Santa Clara University. She graduated in 2011 with a BA in Business Marketing. TENNIS PROFESSIONAL Kyle Hickey Coach Kyle specializes in developing juniors to get to an elite level and becoming a more well-rounded player. He is originally from the Boston area and competed collegiately at Washington College (MD) and Rollins College during which he earned a degree in business management. Also, she has international coaching experience in Qatar and won youngest tennis entrepreneur award and published in Gulf Times leading newspaper in Qatar at the age of 18. TENNIS PROFESSIONAL Aymet Uzcategui Aymet Uzcategui Golding is a former professional tennis player and international coach with over seven years of experience competing on the ITF and WTA tours. A proud representative of Venezuela in the Billie Jean King Cup, both as a player and team captain, she has coached and mentored athletes and teams to achieve national rankings, collegiate rankings, and pursue professional careers. POLICIES Enrollment and Cancellation • In order to participate in our group or private lessons, your child must be a member of the club. Our base memberships are the Little Aces ($20/month) and the Junior Tennis memberships ($50/month). In order to receive full benefits we do offer Couples and Family Tennis memberships. • Once enrolled, you are automatically enrolled throughout the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 school year. • We require 12 hours notice for make-ups or absences. We do not accept late cancellations. You are allowed one make-up or deduction per session regardless of how many classes missed. In order to deduct classes - please email Carmen prior to the start of the new session. • We charge by sessions (each session is 4 weeks long with the exception of Session 5 and Session 10). To cancel your enrollment you must email the class director before the start of the next session. We do not accept late cancellations. How do I handle deductions and make-ups for missed classes? • For deductions due to vacation or anticipated missed classes, email us before the session starts to adjust your tuition. • If you miss a class, email Carmen at [email protected] with at least 12 hours' notice. Become a Member Member Login Log In MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES Last updated November 1, 2023 Welcome to the Club.  We’ve created these Membership Guidelines to provide guidance and insight into how you can make the most of your membership at Mission Hills.  These Membership Guidelines include the Club’s rules and policies. ​ ​ Any questions related to the contents of these Membership Guidelines or their interpretation should be directed to Club Management at [email protected] . ​ We reserve the right to modify any guideline, policy or club rule at any time and in our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.  The Club reserves the right to revoke membership privileges or, if deemed warranted, to terminate a person’s membership immediately for any violation of these Membership Guidelines, Club policy or other Club rule. Club Use Club use is restricted to:   Members Non-members who pay for and use a Guest Pass Non-members participating in Adult tennis clinics Non-members who are participating in special programs developed for Basis Independent School or Connecting Waters Home School Network. Non-members who are part of the Elite Tennis Program   Additionally, from time to time, the Club will host tennis tournaments.  Visitors who are attending or participating in tennis tournaments are permitted access to the Club to attend or participate in tennis tournaments, but are not permitted to use the fitness facilities or pool. Junior Membership Benefits ​ ​ ⁠Once enrolled with a Little Ace or Junior Tennis membership - you are automatically re-enrolled at the start of each month. To cancel your membership you will need to contact [email protected] . ⁠In order to maintain your Little Ace or Junior Tennis membership - you must be enrolled in either a group or private lesson. Guests Each Member may bring up to three guests per day.  All guests must register at the Front Desk, sign a legal wavier, and purchase a Guest Pass prior to entering Club premises. ​ It is the responsibility of Members to pay for Guest Passes.  Failure to register guests may result in suspension of membership privileges or termination of membership. ​ Members are responsible for all of the conduct, actions, and behavior of their guests while on the Mission Hills premises.   Guests may utilize the facilities or play a sport only when accompanied by a Member, and each guest is limited to 1 visit per month regardless of which member they are the guest of. The Club reserves the right to limit the number of guests a member may bring to the Club and to adjust Guest Passes at any time without prior written notice.  Existing Members are not permitted to use the Club as a guest while their membership is on a suspended status. Age Restrictions Members younger than 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the time of joining. ​Their parent or guardian must sign the Membership Agreement, which includes a legal waiver allowing them to use the Club with their permission. Members under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Tennis Juniors and Tennis Aces attending clinics or private lessons are deemed to be accompanied by an adult.  Parents or guardians who are not members must pay for a guest pass to be on court with their child. The pool may only be used by Members or guests that are adults or accompanied by adults. The Club does not provide child care services Minors/children are not allowed to be left unattended while a parent or guardian is using the Club facilities. Mobile Device Use Policy The in-Club use of mobile devices can impact the safety, privacy and comfort of our Members.  In order to ensure the best possible Member experience, we limit in-Club use of mobile devices in the following ways:  We strictly prohibit the use of mobile devices to take photographs or videos or to make voice or video calls in the locker rooms. Headphones or earbuds are required while listening to any audio on a mobile device. Use of mobile devices to make voice or video calls is permitted in the lobby or clubhouse area only. Members are prohibited from using their mobile devices anywhere in the Club to view content that may be viewed as offensive or inappropriate. Members may use their mobile devices on tennis courts in order to photograph or take video of themselves in very limited circumstances and this privilege may be revoked at any time and for any reason at the sole discretion of Club Staff.  Use of a mobile device on tennis courts may be acceptable under the following conditions: No member may use a mobile device to take photographs or videos if doing so presents a risk of injury to themselves or others (for example, mobile devices should not be used to take photographs or video by anyone who is simultaneously playing tennis); Out of respect for the privacy and comfort of our members, photographs or video should never include anyone who has not given their prior permission to appear in such images; Images containing Club intellectual property are subject to all applicable copyright and trademark protections, including, but not limited to, federal and state laws and regulations, and we may prohibit any public-facing use thereof; and No photographs or video may be used for commercial purposes whatsoever. ​ Because the safety, privacy and comfort of our members is paramount, enforcement of this mobile device use policy is a serious matter.  Any report of a violation of this policy, whether from Club Staff or a Club Member, should be resolved promptly and professionally, with priority given to the privacy and comfort of all Members. Locker Room Lockers are provided for Member use while at the Club, free of charge, for convenience. Lockers are available to all Members, and are used at Member’s own risk. Lockers are for member use while at the Club only. Members may not leave the Club with personal items left in a locker. ​ There may be times when a locker will be unlocked by Club Staff.  Examples of this include, but are not limited to: A member failed to observe the policy that lockers can only be used while at the Club, and the items have been in the locker for more than 24 hours. ​ Only authorized personnel are allowed to unlock lockers.  All items will be removed from the locker and stored at the Front Desk for up to 30 days so that the items can be returned to their rightful owner.  After 30 days, the contents will be donated to a charity of the Club’s choosing. ​ All members may use Club locker room facilities, bathrooms, showers, and all other facilities/programs separated by sex based on their self-reported gender identity. We ask that members respect the privacy and comfort of other members by practicing modesty in the locker rooms and remaining covered as much as possible. Please note there are no classes on the following days: ​ Labor Day - September 2 Thanksgiving - November 28-29 Winter Break - December 23 through January 5 Memorial Day - May 27 Class Enrollment: * Grades TK-2 - Mondays 1:00 - 2:00pm - $40 per class Grades 3-6 - Mondays 2:00 - 3:00pm - $40 per class Grades 7+ - Tuesdays 2:00 - 3:00pm - $40 per class I confirm that all of the information I have provided and the classes/ times I have requested are correct based on my preferences. SWIM REGISTRATION FORM TERMS & CONDITIONS Please check all the following statements to confirm you understand and agree to all of the following conditions: I understand that the Tennis and Fitness Schedule consists of 10 Sessions for Fall 2024- Spring 2025. If I want to start at a later date, I will email Pierre Koehler ( [email protected] ) for accommodations and requests. Requests are subject for review and may not be approved. Note: If you want to register for a later session, it will be based on availability. ​ Enrollment and Cancellation •    Once enrolled, you are automatically enrolled throughout the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 school year, ending on June 7, 2026.  •    We require 12 hours notice for make-ups or absences. A minimum of 4 students per grade range (class) is needed for the class to start.  •    We charge by sessions (each session is 4 weeks long with the exception of Session 5 and Session 10). To cancel your enrollment you must email Pierre Koehler ( [email protected] ) before the start of the next session. We do not accept late cancellations. Deductions and Make-ups •    Deductions for vacation or anticipated missed classes need to be given prior to the start of the session via email in order to be adjusted from tuition.  •    If missing a class, you will need to email Pierre Koehler ( [email protected] ) We require 12 hours notice for make-ups or absences. A minimum of 4 students per grade range (class) is needed for the class to start.  •    Late cancellations or no-shows will not warrant a make-up or credit for the class.  •    Make-ups will be scheduled through Pierre Koehler, based on availability.  Rain Days •    Rain days are notified through email, We do try to notify you at least 1 hour in advance, but please keep in mind rain is unpredictable.  •    You can also check our rain status on Twitter. (@mh76updates) •    Any rain days are deducted from the next session's tuition.  Waiting lists •    Waiting lists are only valid through the school year you registered for and go by the order of the registration received. •    Students who are tennis members are given priority on the waiting lists.  Tennis Membership Benefits •    Tennis members receive early registration, priority on waiting lists, as well as a 10% discount on group classes, and a discount on private lessons.  •    Swim and Fitness members do not qualify for the benefits.  •    In order for students to receive the benefits above, the child needs to be a tennis member of the club as well.
