There are many ways to whiten the teeth right from whitening toothpastes to other products that can remove many surface stains, to light-activated whitening techniques. All whitening techniques mainly work in two ways either the bleaching procedures or the non-bleaching procedures. What is bleaching and non-bleaching procedures? Bleaching procedure is the one which uses bleaches that contain an active ingredient, most often carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide in concentrations of 10-22%, which helps remove both deep and surface stains. A non-bleaching procedure works by physical and/or chemical action to help remove surface stains. All toothpastes rely on mild abrasion to remove surface stains between dental visits. Whitening toothpastes have special chemical or polishing agents that provide additional stain removal. Why should I whiten my teeth? Tooth whitening is preferred in order to avoid the embarrassment of yellow teeth due to natural aging process or due to stains caused by over-consumption of tea, coffee and cola. Whitening the teeth not only gives a younger look but also boosts the confidence level and hence self esteem. How safe is tooth whitening? Over a decade of research has proven bleaching and other whitening methods to be both safe and effective. Several products in the market today have shown no adverse effects on teeth or gums in substantial clinical and laboratory testing. In the past, the higher bleach concentrations used in-office treatment resulted in more sensitivity. Today, however, aching gels are well buffered, making sensitivity less of an issue. Sensitivity may occur in people after whitening procedures, particularly when they eat hot or cold foods, but usually disappears after 48 hours and stops completely when treatment is stopped. Who should avoid teeth whitening? Whitening procedures should not be done while a woman is pregnant because the effect of the whitening materials on the development of the fetus is not known. Since the procedure is cosmetic and option, it should be postponed until after delivery. before after "We provide convenient hours and affordable prices so you can have the smile you've always wanted" Call (714) 527-7775 for an appointment Gum Treatment Tooth Removal Crowns And Bridges Conscious Sedation --> Bad Breath Treatment Gum Disease Children's Dentist Orthodontics Braces X-rays --> Tooth Replacement --> Tooth Replacement Anaheim Dentist - Open 7 Days A Week - Until Midnight - Cosmetic Dentist | Whitening | Veneers | Anaheim, CA About Us Contact Us Our Location Refer Our Office Events And Contests Forms Payments We Accept Insurances © 2014. Aside from being highly inconvenient, a dental emergency can be extremely painful. At Anaheim Dentist we are open 7 days a week, until midnight, to help you with your dental emergency so you can get back to doing the things you enjoy. There are many different types of dental emergencies. A dental emergency can be anything from a crown coming off a tooth to a tooth being knocked out. Below you will find a brief description of the different types of dental emergencies Anaheim Dentist can help you with, as well tips to help you with your situation. Call our office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Toothache A person suffers from a toothache when the nerve of the tooth becomes exposed and/or damaged. This can happen when a tooth breaks, a filling falls out, or there is a large cavity on the tooth. A toothache should be treated immediately to relieve pain and discomfort. Call our office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Teeth that have been knocked out If your tooth has been knocked out, it is important to see a dentist as soon as possible. The longer you wait to see a dentist the less of a chance there is to save your tooth. The first step is to retrieve the tooth that has been knocked out. Be sure to hold it by the crown (the part that is usually exposed in the mouth). If the tooth is dirty, gently rinse it with water but do not scrub the tooth or remove any tissue fragments. If possible, try to re insert the tooth into the socket. Make sure the tooth is in the right position first. If it is not possible, do one of following: place the tooth in your mouth between your gums and your cheek, put the tooth in a cup of milk, or put the tooth a cup of water that has a pinch of table salt. This is done to prevent the tooth from drying out. Call our office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Teeth that have been pushed out of place If you tooth has been pushed out of place due to trauma, it is important to see a dentist right away. To relieve pain, take an over the counter pain medication such as ibuprofen. Apply a cold compress outside of the mouth over the area. Call our office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Teeth that are broken or cracked A tooth can become cracked or broken for a number of reason: eating or biting on something hard, decay which causes the tooth to become weak and break, and trauma. Whatever the reason, a cracked or broken tooth can become very painful, make it difficult to eat or function normally, and cause infection. Sometimes the area around a broken tooth can become swollen. It is important to visit our dental office as soon as possible if you have a cracked or broken tooth to prevent further complications. If you do not have pain or swelling around your broken or cracked tooth it is still important to have our office see it right away. Leaving a broken or cracked tooth untreated can lead to an infection in the bone which causes bone loss and can affect the teeth around it, not to mention it can lead to other major health problems. Call our dental office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Wisdom teeth pain A person can suffer from wisdom teeth pain anytime in their adult life, but is most common between the ages of 17 and 25 years of age. A wisdom tooth can cause pain for different reasons. One, the tooth may be growing in the wrong direction. This not only causes pain but can damage the tooth next to it. Two, the wisdom tooth that has began to erupt (come out of the gum) can become infected when bacteria gets under the gum tissue. Three, wisdom teeth are the very last teeth toward the back of the mouth which makes them hard to keep clean. Often times a person will get a cavity on these teeth for that reason. Call our dental office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. A crown, bridge, or veneer that has fallen off Restorations can come off due to a number of reasons. One reason is due to excessive force. That means eating something hard or some sort of trauma to the teeth. Another reason a restoration can become detached is due to decay under the restoration. If bacteria get under the restoration, the tooth may decay causing the cement and bonding to come undone. It is important to call our dental office as soon as possible if your crown, bridge, or veneer falls off because the teeth underneath are at risk. If you eat or bite down on the tooth without the restoration you are at risk of breaking of cracking the tooth, which will cause discomfort and may cause you to lose the tooth. You may also feel pain or sensitivity on the teeth when exposed without the restoration. Call our office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Fillings that have fallen out or are loose A filling can fall out, break, or become loose for different reasons. For one, the filling may be old. If this is the case, bacteria can get under the filling causing a cavity under the current filling. Second, if the filling is large the pressure from eating can cause the filling break or crack. An accident may also cause the filling to break, fall out, or become loose. Whichever the reason, a loose, broken, or missing filling can lead to sensitivity and discomfort. It is important to visit our dental office as soon as possible to prevent further complications, such as breaking the tooth or damaging the nerve, and to prevent infection. Call our dental office (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Swelling of the mouth Swelling anywhere in the mouth is the sign of an infection. An infection can occur for a number of reasons, which include a decayed (or rotten) tooth, broken teeth, a failed root canal, gum disease, a filling that has fallen out or is broken, or trauma to the teeth, mouth, or face. An infection in the mouth can be extremely painful and needs to be treated immediately. Even if there is swelling and little or no pain, the infection still needs to be treated to prevent further complications such as pain and bone loss. The infection may present itself in the form of swelling, or an abscess such as a bubble or pimple in the mouth. Leaving an infection untreated has also been linked, in extreme cases, to death and/or major health issues. Call our dental office at (714) 527-7775 for an emergency appointment today. Swollen, bleeding gums Gum tissue bleeds and becomes swollen due to gum disease, or periodontitis. This means that there are bacteria attached to the teeth around and under the gums that is causing the gum tissue to become infected. This bacteria is commonly referred to as tartar or calculus. This kind of bacteria builds up on teeth leads to bone loss which causes teeth to become loose. If untreated, this condition can lead to loss of teeth. Gum disease has also been linked to major health issues such as heart disease. It is important to call our dental office as soon as Anaheim Dentist - Open 7 Days A Week - Until Midnight --> (714) 527-7775 8516 Katella Ave,  Anaheim Hours: 9:00 AM - 11:55 PM Se Habla Espanol Toggle navigation Home Additional Procedures Teeth Whitening Bad Breath Treatment --> Tooth Fillings Crowns and Bridges Endodontics Root Canals Wisdom Teeth Removal Periodontics Periodontics (current) Children's Dentist Orthodontics Braces --> Endodontics Root Canal --> Emergencies Cleaning & Prevention Cosmetic Dentistry Denal Implants Wisdom Teeth Dentures X-rays --> Click Here Periodontitis --> Click Here How is gum disease treated? Periodontal disease, also called gum disease, is an infection of the gums and bones that hold the teeth in place. If left untreated, gum disease can cause tooth loss. The good news is, gum disease is easy to prevent with proper dental hygiene and regular dental appointments. What is gum disease? Gum disease refers to inflammation of the soft tissue (gingiva) and abnormal loss of bone that surrounds the teeth and holds them in place. Gum disease is the second most common cause of toothache. What causes gum disease? Gum disease is caused by toxins secreted by bacteria in "plaque" that accumulate over time along the gum line. This plaque is a mixture of food, saliva, and bacteria. What are symptoms of gum disease? Early symptoms of gum disease include gum bleeding without pain. Pain is a symptom of more advanced gum disease as the loss of bone around the teeth leads to the formation of gum pockets. Bacteria in these pockets cause gum infection, swelling, pain, and further bone destruction. Advanced gum disease can cause loss of otherwise healthy teeth. before after "We provide convenient hours and affordable prices so you can have the smile you've always wanted" Call (714) 527-7775 for an appointment Gum Treatment Tooth Removal Crowns And Bridges Conscious Sedation --> Bad Breath Treatment Gum Disease Children's Dentist Orthodontics Braces X-rays --> Tooth Replacement --> Tooth Replacement Anaheim Dentist - Open 7 Days A Week - Until Midnight - Cosmetic Dentist | Whitening | Veneers | Anaheim, CA About Us Contact Us Our Location Refer Our Office Events And Contests Forms Payments We Accept Insurances © 2014. Click Here How a Bridge is prepared? Click Here Metal free or All Ceramic or All Porcelain Crowns and Bridges Dental Crown A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance. A dental crown, when cemented into place, fully covers the entire visible portion of a tooth. A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the area of the missing tooth/teeth. These two teeth act as anchoring teeth and a false tooth/teeth in are in between bridging the teeth together. Reasons you may need a Crown. Broken or fractured teeth. Cosmetic enhancement. Decayed teeth. Fractured fillings. Large fillings. Tooth has a root canal. How a Crown is placed. After restoring the lost portion of the tooth, the tooth is trimmed from all sides usually under local anesthesia. This trimming is done to ensure proper space for the crown to be fitted. A mould or impression follows the trimming and this mould is sent to the laboratory where skilled technicians fabricate a crown. After receiving the fabricated crown, it is inserted on the prepared tooth with a dental cement. Does a Crown look like a natural tooth? Yes. The dentist's main goal is to create crowns that look like natural teeth. That is why dentists take an impression. To achieve a certain look, a number of factors are considered, such as the color, bite, shape, and length of your natural teeth. Any one of these factors alone can affect your appearance. If you have a certain cosmetic look in mind for your crown, discuss it with your dentist at your initial visit. When the procedure is complete, your teeth will not only be stronger, but they may be more attractive. Reasons you may need a Bridge. Fill space of missing teeth. Maintain facial shape. Prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position. Restore chewing and speaking ability. Restore your smile. Upgrade from a removable partial denture to a permanent dental appliance. How do I care for a Bridge? With a bridge, it is more important than ever to brush, floss and see the dentist regularly. If buildup of food debris and plaque -the sticky film of bacteria formed from food acids-is not controlled, the teeth and gums can become infected, requiring further treatment and resulting in possible loss of the bridge. We recommend using floss threaders that help remove bacteria from hard to reach spaces between the bridge and adjacent teeth and gums. Crowns on the bridge cover most of the exposed portion of your tooth and decay does not affect a bridge since it is made of metal and /or porcelain. However, where the natural tooth meets the crown of the bridge can become decayed. If optimal oral hygiene care is maintained, a bridge can last for many years. How a Bridge is prepared? For a traditional fixed bridge, the first appointment consists of the dentist reducing the adjacent abutment teeth that will act as anchors. Impressions are made, from which a metal framework, including the pontic, is created. By the second appointment, the final bridge is fitted over the teeth. The total treatment time is usually around one week, depending on the type of bridge. However, because it is often difficult to match the natural shade of your teeth, the treatment time may be longer. Metal free or All Ceramic or All Porcelain Crowns and Bridges. Since a long time, porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crowns and bridges have provided good functional and esthetic support. But In some situations, where esthetics is a major concern, like in replacing anterior teeth, PFM crowns are not the best choice. The black metal collar around the crown may look unaesthetic. Metal free crowns and Metal free crowns are of many types. Castable ceramic crowns like IPS Empress, Lava, Alumina and Zirconia based crowns like Procera and Cercon are the choices available. IPS Empress and Empress Lava are used for single anterior tooth replacement and provide excellent esthetics. Cercon and Procera on the other hand may be used not only for single crowns but also for multiple unit bridges. Besides providing excellent esthetics, these materials provide good strength for long span bridges. Save your natural tooth with a root canal procedure The pulp is the inner-most tissue of the tooth. When the pulp is infected, it is unable to repair itself and it dies. This can allow the bacteria to enter the pulp and cause further damage. During your root canal procedure with us, the diseased pulp is removed, and the pulp chamber and root canal of the tooth are cleaned and sealed. How can a root canal procedure help? The tooth comprised three layers: outer strong, hard enamel; intermediate tough dentin; and, inner soft pulp that contains the nerve ending and blood vessels. During the progression of tooth decay, a deep cavity can develop, exposing the pulp to the exterior and causing discomfort and infection. In such a scenario, the infection can be addressed using either a tooth extraction or a root canal procedure. Eliminate infections using root canal procedure If the pulp gets infected and treatment is not provided on time, there is a chance the infection can spread to other teeth. Infection forms pus in the bone. This can be eliminated through antibiotic therapy and a root canal procedure. Patients undergoing this procedure will require frequent follow-ups, x-rays and clinical check-ups with the dentist until the healing is complete. Schedule an appointment today! In general, after a tooth's surface has been properly prepared, a white colored dental filling material is bonded onto the tooth. Dental bonding might be utilized as a way to improve the appearance of a cosmetic defect found on the surface of a tooth, to replace tooth structure that has chipped away or broken, or to repair damage caused by tooth decay. At an extreme, this technique can be used to resurface the entire front side of a tooth so to improve its cosmetic appearance. As a benefit, when compared with the other cosmetic dentistry techniques reviewed on this page dental bonding can be relatively inexpensive and is usually a "completed in one visit" type dental procedure. As a disadvantage, dental bonding material has a tendency to stain as time passes and in general isn't as lasting or durable a treatment as other cosmetic dental procedures. However, and one more point in the plus column, if dental bonding does chip or break it can usually be easily patched or repaired. Composite veneers cover the facial surface of teeth to change tooth color, position or shape. Addition of composite to tooth structure increases tooth size and therefore, there is often tooth reduction to make room for composite placement. Amount of reduction is determined by position of original tooth in relation to the desired position and color of tooth structure in relation to the thickness of composite materials required to block out color. before after "We provide convenient hours and affordable prices so you can have the smile you've always wanted" Call (714) 527-7775 for an appointment Gum Treatment Tooth Removal Crowns And Bridges Conscious Sedation --> Bad Breath Treatment Gum Disease Children's Dentist Orthodontics Braces X-rays --> Tooth Replacement --> Tooth Replacement Anaheim Dentist - Open 7 Days A Week - Until Midnight - Cosmetic Dentist | Whitening | Veneers | Anaheim, CA About Us Contact Us Our Location Refer Our Office Events And Contests Forms Payments We Accept Insurances © 2014. They are a valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly positioned. But, when the jaw isn't large enough to accommodate wisdom teeth, they can become impacted (unable to come in or misaligned). Wisdom teeth may grow sideways, emerge only part way from the gum or remain trapped beneath the gum and bone. Extraction of wisdom teeth is generally recommended when: 1. Wisdom teeth only partially erupt. This leaves an opening for bacteria to enter around the tooth and cause an infection. Pain, swelling, jaw stiffness and general illness can result. 2. There is a chance that poorly aligned wisdom teeth will damage adjacent teeth. 3. A cyst (fluid-filled sac) forms, destroying surrounding structures such as bone or tooth roots. Sometimes the wisdom tooth fails to erupt completely through the gum bed and the gum at the back of the wisdom tooth extends over the biting surface, forming a soft tissue flap or lid around the tooth called an operculum. Each individual wisdom tooth is unique and depending on how it grows, it can have different impact on bones and/or tissues. Their varied developments such as impaction, horizontal or slant placement may effect other teeth and cause troubles. They have to extracted out and is a highly skillful job being performed by our Maxillofacial surgeon. The following 4 impactions are commonly found in patients cases. If the impaction is between the third molar and part of the second molar, this kind is called bone impaction. It can subcategorized into vertical, horizontal, and angular depending on the way they are intersecting. Bone Impaction (Vertical) Impaction would cause pathosis inside the cheek bone or jaw bone. Bone Impaction (Horizontal) Besides leading pathosis, horizontal placement would hurt the hard tissue of the second molar to cause toothache and cavities Bone Impaction (Angular) Besides leading pathosis, angular placement would hurt the hard tissue of the second molar to cause toothache and cavities. Tissue Impaction The wisdom tooth almost erupts out of gum, or its half erupts out of gum to cause pseudo-pocket. Besides leading pathosis, it easily tracts food debris and causes gum irritation. Click Here Process of wearing orthodontic braces What is orthodontics? Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. What are Braces? Braces are the most efficient and accurate way of moving teeth. Braces (bands, brackets and wires) are usually made of stainless steel although clear brackets are available, usually at extra cost. What are some possible benefits of orthodontics? A more attractive smile • Reduced appearance-consciousness during critical development years • Better function of the teeth • Possible increase in self-confidence • Increased ability to clean the teeth • Improved force distribution and wear patterns of the teeth • Better long term health of teeth and gums • Guide permanent teeth into more favorable positions • Reduce the risk of injury to protruded front teeth • Aid in optimizing other dental treatment. How Long Do I Need To Wear Braces For? Orthodontic treatment usually takes 18 - 24 months. Some cases may be finished earlier and others may take longer to complete. The total treatment time depends on the severity of the original malocclusion, the type of treatment carried out, and the co-operation of the patient Retention At the completion of the active part of orthodontic treatment, the braces are removed and retaining appliances (retainers) are fitted to hold the teeth steady in their new position. These appliances may be removable plates or wires fitted behind the teeth. Retainers play an important role in orthodontic treatment for, if they are not worn according to instructions, the teeth may move back towards their original position. The retaining appliances are usually worn: Full-time for up to one year Just at night for a further year Phased out altogether over one more year The corrected teeth are observed periodically for up to five years after the retainers have been phased out. During retention and the subsequent observation period, patients are expected to attend once or twice a year. before after "We provide convenient hours and affordable prices so you can have the smile you’ve always wanted 714-527-7775 "We provide convenient hours and affordable prices so you can have the smile you've always wanted" Call (714) 527-7775 for an appointment Gum Treatment Tooth Removal Crowns And Bridges Conscious Sedation --> Bad Breath Treatment Gum Disease Children's Dentist Orthodontics Braces X-rays --> Tooth Replacement --> Tooth Replacement Anaheim Dentist - Open 7 Days A Week - Until Midnight - Cosmetic Dentist | Whitening | Veneers | Anaheim, CA About Us Contact Us Our Location Refer Our Office Events And Contests Forms Payments We Accept Insurances © 2014. Click Here Can a tooth with an abscess or infection that has spread beyond the root be saved by R.C.T.? Click Here How many visits does it take to complete root canal treatment? Endodontics Root canal The pulp is the inner most tissue of the tooth. It is a soft tissue that contains nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue. It lies within the tooth and extends from the crown of the tooth to the tip of the root in the bone of the jaws. The pulp is the inner most tissue of the tooth. It is a soft tissue that contains nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue. It lies within the tooth and extends from the crown of the tooth to the tip of the root in the bone of the jaws. When the pulp is diseased or injured and can't repair itself, it dies. The most common cause of pulp death is a cracked tooth or a deep cavity. Both of these problems can let germs (bacteria) enter the pulp. Germs can cause an infection inside the tooth. Left without treatment, pus builds up at the root tip, in the jawbone, forming a "pus-pocket" called an abscess. An abscess can cause damage to the bone around the teeth. When the infected pulp is not removed, pain and swelling can result. Certain byproducts of the infection can injure your jaw bones. The infection may spread to the adjacent teeth causing pain and discomfort. Without treatment, your tooth may have to be removed To save the tooth and keep it in service for lifetime, Root canal procedure needs to be done in such infected teeth. Treatment often involves one to three visits depending upon the infection. During treatment, I will removes the diseased pulp. The pulp chamber and root canal(s) of the tooth are then cleaned and sealed. Here's how your tooth is saved through treatment: 1. An opening is made through the crown of the tooth into the pulp chamber. 2. The pulp is removed, and the root canals are cleaned, enlarged and shaped. 3. Medications may be put in the pulp chamber and root canal(s) to help get rid of germs and prevent infection. 4. A temporary filling will be placed in the crown opening to protect the tooth between dental visits. 5. I may have to leave the tooth open for a few days to drain the pus. You might also be given medicine to help control infection that may have spread beyond the tooth. 6. The pulp chamber and root canals are filled and sealed in subsequent visit(s). 7. The crown of the tooth is then restored. 8. In the final step, a crown (cap) is usually placed over the tooth. Your restored tooth could last a lifetime, if you continue to care for your teeth and gums. However, regular checkups are necessary. As long as the root(s) of a treated tooth are nourished by the tissues around it, your tooth will remain healthy. before after "We provide convenient hours and affordable prices so you can have the smile you've always wanted" Call (714) 527-7775 for an appointment Gum Treatment Tooth Removal Crowns And Bridges Conscious Sedation --> Bad Breath Treatment Gum Disease Children's Dentist Orthodontics Braces X-rays --> Tooth Replacement --> Tooth Replacement Anaheim Dentist - Open 7 Days A Week - Until Midnight - Cosmetic Dentist | Whitening | Veneers | Anaheim, CA About Us Contact Us Our Location Refer Our Office Events And Contests Forms Payments We Accept Insurances © 2014. A gift from the Global Data Registry

When the Global Data Registry crawled http://www.adentist4me.com/, we found no structured data — the language AI systems use to understand and describe a business online.

Schema is how ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity know what your business does and how to describe you accurately to your customers. Without it, AI systems are guessing.

The most important field in this block is sameAs — a verified edge connecting your website to your permanent record at the Global Data Registry. This is a free, confirmed link to a real verified source. It costs nothing and gives your website a confirmed node in the graph that AI systems traverse when building answers about your business.

Copy the block below and paste it into the <head> of your website. Or drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask it to extend it with your full business details — that is the fastest path to a complete schema record.

▶   What is schema?

Schema is a standard vocabulary maintained at schema.org that lets websites describe themselves in a language machines can read. When you add schema to your website, you are telling AI systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs exactly what your business is and how it connects to the rest of the web.
