[email protected] Dr. James Kim was born and raised in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. After completing his studies in biology and psychology at Boston College, he received his dental education and training at New York University College of Dentistry, where he also acquired a certification in Public Health. After completing his studies, he began his dental career back in his hometown, spending several years in private practice, as well as spending much needed time back at home with family. Life had different plans for James, and he soon found himself in San Francisco where he plans to reside long term. Raised by a family that stressed importance in conservative values and friendly, well-mannered interactions with others, Dr. Kim has translated these teachings to his relationship with his patients. Dr. Kim had long sought to work in a practice in the Peninsula that would allow him to practice doing what he believes is in the best interest for his patients. Being a family oriented person, Dr. James spends much of his free time enjoying life with Michelle and their sons, Evan and Noah. Outdoor living has been a great benefit for James and Michelle since their move out west. Their hobbies include walks in parks with their beloved dog, Bailey, enjoying the wide variety of culinary treats San Francisco and the Peninsula have to offer, and the occasional winery excursion when time and weather permits.
