Our District > Reports & Plans > Local Control Accountability Plan Local Control Accountability Plan The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year strategic plan that outlines Banning USD’s goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support student success. As part of California’s Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), the LCAP ensures that resources are aligned with student needs while maintaining transparency and accountability. This plan focuses on accelerating academic achievement, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment, and strengthening family and community engagement. The development of the LCAP is a collaborative process, incorporating valuable input from parents, staff, and community members to guide decision-making and ensure that funding is used effectively to support student outcomes. Our Areas of the LCAP The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) outlines Banning USD’s strategic goals, priorities, and budget allocations to support student success. The plan ensures alignment with state and local priorities, focusing on academic achievement, student well-being, and community engagement. Below are the current LCAP documents and related plans available for review: LCAP At-a-Glance 2025-26 LCAP Goals Parent Budget Overview Engagement & Input Federal Addendum (ESSA Funds) LCAP At-a-Glance Banning USD will receive $86.4 million in revenue for the 2025–26 school year, with $94.3 million in planned spending . Of this, $31.2 million is tied directly to LCAP actions and services, including $19 million dedicated to English Learners, foster youth, and low-income students. Our three goals are: High-Quality Teaching & Student Achievement Safe, Supportive, and Inclusive Schools Family & Community Engagement Progress is measured through academics (test scores, graduation, English Learner growth), school climate (attendance, suspensions, surveys), and family engagement (surveys, workshops, advisory groups). Federal funds also support this work: Title I (academic support and tutoring), Title II (teacher and principal training), Title III (English Learner support), and Title IV (safe and healthy schools, technology). 2025-26 LCAP Goals Goal 1: Accelerate Student Academic Achievement Goal 2: Cultivate a Safe & Healthy Learning Environment Goal 3: Increase Parent & Community Engagement Goal 1: Accelerate Student Academic Achievement Why we chose this goal Student data showed achievement gaps in English, math, and college/career readiness. Families and staff also identified the need for more tutoring, updated curriculum, and stronger support for teachers. Why it matters Strong academics are the foundation for graduation, college, and career success. This goal ensures every student, regardless of background, has access to rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive instruction. A gift from the Global Data Registry

When the Global Data Registry crawled https://www.banning.k12.ca.us/, we found no structured data — the language AI systems use to understand and describe a business online.

Schema is how ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity know what your business does and how to describe you accurately to your customers. Without it, AI systems are guessing.

The most important field in this block is sameAs — a verified edge connecting your website to your permanent record at the Global Data Registry. This is a free, confirmed link to a real verified source. It costs nothing and gives your website a confirmed node in the graph that AI systems traverse when building answers about your business.

Copy the block below and paste it into the
of your website. Or drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask it to extend it with your full business details — that is the fastest path to a complete schema record.

▶ What is schema?

Schema is a standard vocabulary maintained at schema.org that lets websites describe themselves in a language machines can read. When you add schema to your website, you are telling AI systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs exactly what your business is and how it connects to the rest of the web.
