We optimize investment plans for each client’s specific situation, to help them meet goals, focus on the core mission, and sustain programs and services for the long term. 1 UNDERSTAND With our holistic approach, we go further than other consultants. We believe that each client is unique, and is most likely to achieve investment objectives with a customized investment plan that takes into account factors beyond the investment itself. We immerse ourselves through a discovery process to understand each client’s specific challenges, successes, and future goals. This is a critical step toward the development of a successful partnership. We then collaborate with each client to create an investment policy statement that clearly defines the client’s investment objectives, and ensures they are aligned with the client’s mission. 2 DESIGN We partner with investment committees to build portfolios that factor in key roles and responsibilities, investment objectives, and the organization’s willingness to bear risk. Our investment process takes everything we've gleaned from the discovery process and marries it with the expertise of our investment professionals to deliver a range of solutions, customized for each client’s unique situation. We spend significant time getting the strategy right for each client, because we believe investment success is achieved by designing a custom program focused on specific objectives. Success will be determined by the right mix of assets, and the discipline to stick to a long-term plan. 3 IMPLEMENT In an advisory role, we offer specific investment recommendations for strategy and manager selection, and provide ongoing measurement. The client retains full control on allocation decisions and underlying managers, while Canterbury’s client service team provides administrative support for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the portfolio. In 1988, they set out to build a firm focused only on providing objective guidance to construct portfolios. Embracing a fee-only advisory model, Canterbury would sell no investment products of their own. They would advise clients of the best fund managers by doing in-depth research and diligence on those managers. Today, we remain 100% employee-owned and completely independent. We are committed to our fiduciary duty to clients. We believe our clients value an independent fiduciary partner who can provide viable solutions — solutions that will enable them to meet their obligations and reach their financial goals. As of December 31, 2025 we have grown from six employees to 67, and we advise on $66.9 billion in assets for endowments, foundations, healthcare organizations, and families. We are proud that we have been able to grow organically since day one, avoiding a merger or acquisition. The firm’s organic growth allows us to maintain a business structure that is both independent and aligned with our culture as a firm. to 2025 WE PROTECT OUR INDEPENDENCE: WE PROTECT OUR CLIENTS   We continue to protect our independence and are vigilant about avoiding potential conflicts in a changing financial world. We protect our clients both by what we do—help them achieve their missions by helping them achieve the financial strength to do so—and by what we don’t do: WE DO NOT RECEIVE ANY FEES FROM MANAGERS WE DO NOT HAVE A PROPRIETARY TRADING PLATFORM WE DO NOT HAVE TIES TO ANY OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WE DO NOT USE MODEL PORTFOLIOS OUR TEAM Canterbury Consulting is a team of professionals who take pride in our independence, our work, and our commitment to fiduciary duty. Canterbury Consulting was one of the 23 medium employer companies, with 50 to 99 employees, that made P&I's list this year. For its ninth annual program, P&I worked with Best Companies Group, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to develop its Best Places To Work in Money Management list. To participate this year, firms had to have at least 20 employees in the United States, have at least $100 million of discretionary assets under management or advisement, and be in business for at least one year. In part one of the process, the employer completed a questionnaire about the firm's benefits, demographics, and policies. In part two, employees were surveyed with 78 statements in which they responded on a 1-to-5 scale of "Disagree Strongly" to "Agree Strongly" alongside open-ended questions on their experience within their firms. Employee responses accounted for 75% of the total company score while employer responses accounted for 25%. The award marks the second year this program has recognized Canterbury for its employee engagement and workplace culture. “Our culture has grown stronger during the pandemic,” said President Debashis Chowdhury, CFA, Canterbury Consulting. “As we planned our new working environment, we deliberately sought to leverage our cultural foundation to ensure our vision, goals, and values continued to serve our clients as a cohesive unit. While daily in-person interactions may have waned, our team leaders have been extraordinarily creative in finding new ways to keep our culture intact.” In its 10th year, P&I’s Best Places to Work in Money Management is a research-driven program from Best Companies Group that examines qualified companies on their practices, programs, benefits, and employee sentiment. The program’s survey consisted of two parts. In part one, the employer completed a questionnaire about the firm’s policies, practices, benefits, and demographics. Best Companies then confirmed U.S. employment numbers for each firm. The engagement and satisfaction survey consisted of 78 statements emailed to employees and asked to respond on a 1-to-5 scale of “Disagree Strongly” to “Agree Strongly.” Two questions also were asked: What did the firm do to make it a place where people wanted to work, and what things could the company do to increase employee satisfaction and productivity. Brennan Canterbury Consulting provides financial advice on $23.6 billion worth of investments for family offices, college endowments, nonprofits, healthcare organizations and other clients. Like other wealth management firms in this hyper-competitive business on Wall Street, this advice is closely tracked by clients, especially in years where the markets have seen wild swings of fortune. Yet, the 62 employees at the Newport Beach-based company thrive in this stressful environment, as based on the firm’s No. 34 placement on the Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list, for midsize businesses. “We’ve always tried to create some creativity with our employees from the clerks to those who meet clients face to face,” President Debashis Chowdhury told the Business Journal. “There is a connectivity beyond dollars that makes the work more purposeful for our employees.” This county-wide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Orange County, California, benefiting the county's economy, its workforce and businesses. To be considered for participation, employers had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements: Have at least 15 full- or part-time permanent employees working in Orange County; Have a physical operation in Orange County; Be a publicly or privately held organization; Be a for-profit, not-for-profit, or a government organization; Have been in business for at least one year, at the program registration deadline. Organizations from across the county entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Orange County. The first part consisted of evaluating each employer's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 80% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking. Workforce Research Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Orange County and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final ranking. The ranking of the winning organizations were released via a special section of the Orange County Business Journal ’s October 26th issue. Because many communities are populated with nonprofits that have small bases of capital, community foundations are critical for alleviating the operational burden of administering, investing, and distributing donor funds. For our outsourced CIO (OCIO) service, we use the same tools we have always used with clients, creating custom portfolios with a collaborative investment process and client-focused manager solutions. We are simply doing so on a discretionary basis. 1 UNDERSTAND With our holistic approach, we go further than other consultants. We believe that each client is unique, and is most likely to achieve investment objectives with a customized investment plan that takes into account factors beyond the investment itself. We immerse ourselves in a thorough discovery process to understand each client’s specific challenges, successes, and future goals. This is a critical step toward developing a successful partnership. We then collaborate with each client to create an investment policy statement that clearly defines the client’s objectives, and ensures they are aligned with the client’s mission. We also clearly define our role as a co-fiduciary and the responsibilities of both the client and Canterbury. 2 DESIGN We partner with investment committees and trustees to define objectives, identify constraints, and build guidelines for each client’s customized portfolio. As a result, our discretionary clients play a crucial role in policy development; outsourcing does not remove our client’s control. Then, using the same tools and experience that we use with advisory clients to create custom portfolios, we tailor each outsourced portfolio to our client's unique objectives and risk tolerance. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our investment process takes everything we've gleaned from the discovery process and marries it with the expertise of our investment professionals to deliver a solution designed solely with the individual client’s objectives in mind. 3 IMPLEMENT In a discretionary or OCIO partnership, the client delegates all day-to-day management and back-office implementation to Canterbury as co-fiduciary, freeing them of related paperwork. Our team works to address manager changes, allocation rebalances, or other issues, all within the parameters of the client’s policy statement. We communicate such changes and provide regular reports to each client, as required. Most clients choose our discretionary services to allow decision-makers and staff to focus on high-level policy decisions, and on achieving the organization’s mission. A gift from the Global Data Registry

When the Global Data Registry crawled https://www.canterburyconsulting.com/, we found no structured data — the language AI systems use to understand and describe a business online.

Schema is how ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity know what your business does and how to describe you accurately to your customers. Without it, AI systems are guessing.

The most important field in this block is sameAs — a verified edge connecting your website to your permanent record at the Global Data Registry. This is a free, confirmed link to a real verified source. It costs nothing and gives your website a confirmed node in the graph that AI systems traverse when building answers about your business.

Copy the block below and paste it into the <head> of your website. Or drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask it to extend it with your full business details — that is the fastest path to a complete schema record.

▶   What is schema?

Schema is a standard vocabulary maintained at schema.org that lets websites describe themselves in a language machines can read. When you add schema to your website, you are telling AI systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs exactly what your business is and how it connects to the rest of the web.
