Purpose : To remove barriers to academic success and degree attainment for student parents. Who : Any student who has a child under 18 years of age who will receive more than half of their support from that student will receive priority registration beginning July 1, 2023. On-Campus Resource California Work Opportunity and Responsibility for Kids (CalWORKs) A Welfare-to-Work program for families with children. Partners with the Department of Public Social Services to assist students with education, training and job skills. Strives to assist students in obtaining educational degrees and certificates while gaining experience that leads to self-sufficiency.
