PARKING ACCOMMODATIONS FOR STORE EMPLOYEES As part of the new controlled parking plan, our Valley Fair retail partners will be able to purchase preferred parking passes at a rate of $40 a month, or $3 a day, for designated employee parking spots in the subterranean Stevens Creek garage or at any of the shopping center’s rooftop levels. If not purchased by the employer, individual employees may purchase the passes themselves. Passes can be obtained either at the Valley Fair Parking Office (Located on Level 3 by the Security Office) or by setting up accounts for day / monthly use directly with LAZ Parking. Valet Hours of Operation: Sunday-Thursday 11:00am - 10:00pm Friday and Saturday 11:00am - 12:00am Valet services are payable by credit card only at this time, a $1 card processing fee may apply. Please do not leave vehicle unattended. Driver must leave keys with attendant. Drivers must return to pick up their vehicles prior to valet closing, cars left overnight will be available for pick up upon opening on the following day of business. Uber Valley Fair also has designated drop-off and pick-up station for Uber vehicles (north valet only) , as well as 60 electrical vehicle charging spaces in total. These include 14 new ultra-fast Electrify America electric vehicle charging stations. Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging and Parking The Monroe Parking Garage introduces Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. ChargePoint EV Charging Stations are located on levels 1 and 2 of the Monroe Garage and level 1 of the Winchester garage. What is ChargePoint: ChargePoint is a nationwide network of electric vehicle charging stations. The chargers come with a standard J1772 plug, allowing them to charge any car on the market today, including Tesla. Each station provides customers up to 7.2kW of power. This will give drivers an average of 25 miles of range per hour of charge. To use these stations ChargePoint has a free mobile app that helps you find an available station and start charging. You can also sign up and receive a FREE ChargePoint card and activate it, use any credit card that has an RFID chip, Apple Pay, Pay Pal and Android Pay. How do I sign up for a ChargePoint Membership? Creating a ChargePoint account will give you quick and easy access to the largest EV charging network with over 33,600 places to plug in. You can initiate sessions without a membership, but with a free ChargePoint account, you can set up mobile and email notifications to get updates on the charging status of your vehicle. You can also save your favorite station locations (like Westfield Valley Fair!), manage your charging payments, track your energy use, gas savings, and greenhouse gas emissions avoided. Plus, view your monthly statements to track all your charging activity. To sign up, follow these simple instructions: At http://www.chargepoint.com/join, click on “Sign Up” and provide the requested information. Alternatively, you can download the ChargePoint application to your smartphone and sign up through it. A ChargePoint card will be mailed to you. Once it arrives, log into your account and go to My Account and select Manage ChargePoint Cards. Make sure you have your ChargePoint card on hand to enter the serial number and select save. How to Use: With ChargePoint Membership Card: Hold your ChargePoint card over card reader, which will unlock the charging handle. Plug the charging nozzle into your car. To finish charging session, hold card to reader for handle to unlock from car. Members can be notified when they can charge their car if they add themselves on the queue. RFID Credit Card: Tap your credit card over the reader symbol, press the handle button to remove the charging connector and plug in. Phone Call: A Driver Support Number is listed on all our station. They are available 24/7 356 days at 1-888-758-4389 Location of charging stations: Westfield Valley Fair currently has 44 EV charging stations, each with the ability to charge two cars simultaneously. Fourteen stations are located on the first level of the Monroe Garage, close to California Pizza Kitchen. Twelve stations are located on the second level of the Monroe Garage near the entrance into the shopping center. Eighteen stations are located on the first level of the Winchester Garage, close to Nordstrom. Can someone who is not a ChargePoint member use this service? Yes, with any credit card that has an RFID chip and with Apple Pay, Pay Pal and Android Pay. I parked when it was being used, how can I know when it is ready for me to use it? +Guests can add themselves on a queue through the mobile application. This reserves the spot for the guest and gives them a notification on when it is ready for us How can I be sure no one will unplug my car to charge their own? +The handle locks until it is prompted to be released by the user through the station. If you are unplugged you will receive an alert by text and or email through the mobile app. Which cars can use the ChargePoint charger? Download Change center Stores Food & Drink Entertainment ALPR Usage and Privacy Policy AUTOMATED LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION (ALPR) USAGE AND PRIVACY POLICY VF Mall, LLC (“Owner”) utilizes automated license plate recognition (“ALPR”) technology at Westfield Valley Fair shopping center (the “Center”). A. Purpose ALPR information may be collected, accessed, and used to: Help customers find their vehicles; Assist customers with vehicle-related inquiries; Register employees for parking at the Center; Prevent customers from paying an incorrect fee; Prevent people from parking in unauthorized or restricted parking stalls; Reduce customer wait time when entering and exiting the property; Notify Center management when a flagged vehicle comes onsite; To assist with investigations and insurance claims related to Center property damage; Assist with emergencies including fires, floods, or accidents; and Assist with law enforcement investigations. B. Access and Use of the ALPR System(s) The following parties are authorized to collect, access, and use the ALPR System(s): SKIDATA, Inc./Sentry Control Systems (“Skidata”) Personnel, specifically Skidata System Engineer(s), who provide technology support services for the ALPR technology; LAZ Parking Management (“LAZ”) Personnel, specifically the Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, Office Supervisor, and Customer Service Agents, who manage parking services at the Center; Park Assist (“Park Assist”) Personnel, specifically Park Assist Client Services Coordinator(s), who provide technology support services for the ALPR technology; Vice President, Center Management, Assistant General Manager, and Manager on Duty at the Center, who have day-to-day responsibility for the Center and its services, including the parking and the ALPR system(s); and Center Security Personnel, specifically the Security Director and the Assistant Security Director, who assist customers with parking and security questions and services. All personnel with access to ALPR information undergo training on the operation and proper use of the ALPR system(s) prior to being provided access to the ALPR system(s), including review of the Center ALPR policy and on-the-job training. C. System Monitoring Owner, Skidata, LAZ, and Park Assist utilize physical access controls, digital permission controls, and other technological, procedural, and operational security measures to protect ALPR information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. These measures include username(s) and password(s) for access, and IT security controls to protect ALPR information. In addition, ALPR system vendors conduct routine maintenance and periodic audits of the ALPR system(s) in order to ensure accuracy of the system(s). D. Information Sharing Owner and the authorized users identified above do not sell ALPR information. They do not share ALPR information except for the purposes stated above, or as obligated by law such as by search warrant or subpoena. E. Official Custodian The official custodian of the ALPR information is the Vice President, Center Management. For additional information please contact the Vice President, Center Management at [email protected] . F. Data Accuracy Reasonable technical measures, including regular testing and maintenance, are utilized in order to ensure the accuracy of ALPR information and correct errors. G. Data Retention ALPR information is retained for up to 30 days. Some ALPR information may be purged daily. After 30 days, ALPR information is automatically destroyed unless the retention period must be increased due to legal obligations. Examples of legal obligations include administrative or judicial proceedings such as search warrants, subpoenas, and litigation. ALPR information retained as a result of legal obligations will be destroyed after the legal obligation to retain it ends, at which point the 30-day retention schedule will resume. H. Changes to this Policy This ALPR Usage and Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time by Owner. Any changes to the policy will take effect upon posting.
