This large, historic barn offers sweeping views of the bucolic hills and provides ample space for multiple hair and makeup stations. The guys got ready in the Garden Cottage—where, truth be told, there’s not much to do but relax and hang with your buds. First Looks Few moments are as touching as a father-daughter first look. It’s a quiet pause in the day, filled with pride, love, and the kind of emotion that doesn’t need words. Couple first looks are some of the most powerful moments we witness—unfiltered emotion, genuine connection, and a reminder of what the day is really about. The Ceremony Framed by our Belvedere gazebo, Amber and Hunter exchanged vows surrounded by the natural beauty of the ranch. Cocktail Hour & Reception After the ceremony, guests wandered through our Secret Garden while the ceremony space magically transformed into a candlelit garden dinner party beneath twinkling bistro lights. Florals We provide stems of our premium garden roses and love when couples choose to create their own florals. When flowers are arranged by your inner circle, they become more than décor—they become memories made together, woven into every bouquet and table —each stem placed with intention, care, and a shared sense of joy. Golden Hour The ethereal magic of the ranch peaks at golden hour. Entry to the gardens is $20 per adult and $10 per child. Flower foraging is an add-on for $50 per bucket of flowers. Your host will greet you upon arrival for a brief orientation of the grounds. After your orientation you will be invited to forage on your own and cut fresh flowers to take home. As you roam our fields and gardens you are sure to meet our lovely farm animals and other wild guests. We have chickens, dogs, cats and goats. Guests will leave with a bucket full of flowers and full hearts. We will provide you with a bucket you can take home. Cutting shears and garden gloves are available if you would like to use ours but you are also welcome to bring your own from home if you prefer. Other things to note Wear appropriate attire: closed toe shoes, a hat, sunscreen, layers in case it’s hot or chilly. If you are bringing garden gloves, leather is best. He who covet the rose must beware the thorn! Great for groups, teams and team building! Your Host Garden Valley Ranch is a 5 acre rose farm in the heart of Sonoma County. The ranch has been growing premium garden roses for over 30 years and is a historic property dating back to the late 1800’s. Guests often describe their time here as ‘magical’. Beyond the beauty and serenity of our gardens, you will find harmony amongst the wild life, a bounty of fresh grown fruits and vegetables and be deafened by nature’s call. The view of the rose fields is spectacular. Suitable for up to 150 people. SECRET GARDEN The Secret Garden is a hidden English manicured garden filled with fragrant plants, boxwood hedges and mature trees. Adjacent to the Belvedere lawns, enter the Secret Garden through a maze of towering hedges for that WOW-factor. With romantic nooks, benches and a beautiful fountain, it is ideal for intimate ceremonies, cocktail receptions and photographs. Suitable for up to 50 guests for ceremony or reception or up to 150 guests standing for cocktail parties. CARRIAGE HOUSE BARN The Carriage House is a perfect setting for an indoor-outdoor experience. The ground floor is often used for cocktails, dancing and dining. Restrooms are also located on the first floor and are ADA accessible. The adjacent wraparound deck is perfect for cocktails and lounge seating. Bottom floor and outdoor spaces suitable for up to 150 guests. CARRIAGE HOUSE COURTYARD The main barn door of the Carriage House opens up to this expansive courtyard lined with poplars, red roses and a 3-tier fountain. A pretty setting for ceremonies, farm table dinners, or large receptions. Bistro lights hang above, lit for evening festivities. CHANGING SUITES Garden Valley Ranch has separate changing suites for bride and groom. GARDEN COTTAGE Nestled amidst our birch forest, the Victorian era garden cottage is the perfect setting for bride and her party to do hair and make-up, champagne toasts and photos before the ceremony. DEPOT SUITE/GROOM ROOM This former train depot is situated on our historic tree-lined trestle road. On the back side passengers used to load the electric railway that ran between Petaluma and Santa Rosa. The front entrance faces our main growing field which boasts over 5,000 roses. The depot suite also has two guest restrooms. Full Day Rental ranges from $5,500 to $10,500 and includes the below amenities Ceremony site at our historic Belvedere situated amongst our 2 acre field of roses Cocktail reception space in our English Secret Garden Indoor or Outdoor reception space for dinner and dancing Victorian cottage with antique gold mirror for bridal party Train depot suite for groomsmen 2 elegant white bars Romantic bistro lighting Our exquisite garden roses and rose petals for use in your floral arrangements (DIY flowers encouraged!)
