Kits for Kids is a free program through the Southern California Regional Energy Network that provides free energy efficiency item boxes to 3rd and 4th grade students. We were able to reach 6 school districts (Lynwood Unified School District, Compton Unified School District, KIPP SoCal Public Schools, Whittier City School District, South Whittier School District, Paramount Unified School District) and 1 private school (Santa Fe Springs Christian School) totaling 2,247 students and families who received these free kits. In January, we celebrated Lynwood Unified School Districtor their participation in Kits for Kids and enrollment in the SoCalREN Public Agency Program. We played an energy efficiency bingo with the 4th grade students and celebrated their teachers for bringing the program to Will Rogers Elementary School If your district isn’t enrolled in Kits for Kids, please reach out! We would love to bring the Kits for Kids program to your classrooms. You can email Melissa Godfrey at [email protected] to learn more. @1237239452954430 1 WEEK AGO Gateway Cities Council of Governments Mexico en El Corazon 2026 Luckman Theater 5151 State University Dr. Los Angeles, CA 90032 Sábado 9 de Mayo 2026 7:00 PM ¡Evento gratuito! @1237239452954430 1 WEEK AGO Powered by Curator.io 16401 Paramount Boulevard Paramount   |   CA 90723 562-663-6850 [email protected] Powered by revize., the Government Website Experts Login ◈ Interior Pages — 10 pages crawledWelcome to Gateway Cities Council Of Governments, CA Skip to main content 16401 Paramount Boulevard Paramount   |   CA 90723 (562) 663-6850 English Español Translate English Afrikaans Albanian Arabic Armenian Azerbaijani Basque Belarusian Bengali Bosnian Bulgarian Catalan Cebuano Chinese (Simplified) Chinese (Traditional) Croatian Czech Danish Dutch Esperanto Estonian Filipino Finnish French Galician Georgian German Greek Gujarati Haitian Creole Hausa Hebrew Hindi Hmong Hungarian Icelandic Igbo Indonesian Irish Italian Japanese Javanese Kannada Khmer Korean Lao Latin Latvian Lithuanian Macedonian Malay Maltese Maori Marathi Mongolian Nepali Norwegian Persian Polish Portuguese Punjabi Romanian Russian Serbian Slovak Slovenian Somali Spanish Swahili Swedish Tamil Telugu Thai Turkish Ukrainian Urdu Vietnamese Welsh Yiddish Yoruba Zulu Home About Us Board Of Directors Message From the President Committee Agendas Board of Directors Committee on Homelessness Homelessness Technical Advisory Committee I-710 Ad Hoc Committee I 710 Technical Advisory Committee Planning Directors Committee Public Works Officers SR 91/605/405 Corridor Cities Committee SR 91/605/405 Technical Advisory Committee Transportation Committee City Managers Steering Committee Southeast Gateway Line Technical Advisory Committee Southeast Gateway Line Corridor Cities Committee Energy Working Group Legislative Agendas Gateway Cities Council of Governments Legislative Agenda 2023 Gateway Cities Council of Governments Legislative Agenda 2022 Gateway Cities Council of Governments Legislative Agenda 2021 Doing Business with GCCOG Contract Opportunities Current Openings Vendor Registration Member Contacts News Contact Us Agendas Initiatives & Projects Transportation Complete Streets Initiative Southeast Gateway Line Eastside Transit Corridor Phase 2 (Gold Line) I 605 South Corridor I-5 South Corridor I-710 Environmental Impact Report I-710 South Corridor Strategic Transportation Plan Climate & Air Quality Air Quality Plan Climate Action Planning Framework Climate Funding Readiness Gateway Cities Regional Climate Collaborative SoCalREN Urban Tree Canopy Project Housing & Homelessness Case Studies Homelessness Housing Housing Continuum Economic Development Broadband Master Plan Environmental Documents and Notices Job Creation Fiber Optic Project Resources Gateway COG Data and Resources Gateway Cities COG Presentations Gateway Cities COG Studies Site Selection Tool How Do I ? Ferrer City of Pico Rivera 562-801-4027 [email protected] Pico Rivera Innovative Municipal Energy Announces Electric Vehicle Giveaway for Current and Future ‘Power Choice’ Customers Pico Rivera, CA – Pico Rivera Innovative Municipal Energy (PRIME), the City of Pico Rivera’s Community Choice Energy provider, is excited to announce the Power Choice EV Giveaway Contest , a limited-time opportunity designed to generate community excitement around installing home solar with battery storage through the local Power Choice program.  “Power Choice reflects the City Council’s commitment to equity, affordability, and environmental leadership,” said Mayor Gustavo V. Camacho. “We have created pathways for residents to access clean energy technologies that have historically been out of reach. The EV Giveaway celebrates this collective progress and highlights how local investments in clean energy can translate into meaningful opportunities and tangible benefits for our residents.” Sponsored and funded exclusively with private monies by Participate.Energy , the EV giveaway is open to current Power Choice residential customers, as well as new customers who enroll by May 31, 2026, and complete installation by August 31, 2026. Eligible participants may enter for a chance to win a new electric vehicle or $35,000 cash. To enter , participants are asked to submit their contact information, a short 250-word summary about their experience with Power Choice and how it will make a difference in their lives, and a photo of themselves with their installed system. First introduced in 2023, Power Choice offers community members access to solar energy and battery storage systems — with no upfront costs and no credit check required. Participants enjoy long-term bill savings and benefit from emergency backup power during outages. By enrolling, customers are helping support a cleaner, more sustainable California while enjoying reliable energy at home. This local contest offers residents a meaningful way to participate in the clean energy transition.  “By showcasing real residents and their experiences, PRIME is reinforcing that the clean energy transition is already happening in Pico Rivera,” continued Mayor Camacho. “Programs like Power Choice are the result of City Council collaboration and turn long-term sustainability goals into everyday action.” For technical assistance with contest entries, please email [email protected] . For more information about the giveaway or to view official contest rules, visit EVContest.Participate.Energy/Rules . Don’t miss your chance to win! A gift from the Global Data Registry

When the Global Data Registry crawled https://www.gatewaycog.org/, we found no structured data — the language AI systems use to understand and describe a business online.

Schema is how ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity know what your business does and how to describe you accurately to your customers. Without it, AI systems are guessing.

The most important field in this block is sameAs — a verified edge connecting your website to your permanent record at the Global Data Registry. This is a free, confirmed link to a real verified source. It costs nothing and gives your website a confirmed node in the graph that AI systems traverse when building answers about your business.

Copy the block below and paste it into the <head> of your website. Or drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask it to extend it with your full business details — that is the fastest path to a complete schema record.

▶   What is schema?

Schema is a standard vocabulary maintained at schema.org that lets websites describe themselves in a language machines can read. When you add schema to your website, you are telling AI systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs exactly what your business is and how it connects to the rest of the web.
