As you may have read in the insert with our last bill, we are now working with a bank to safely and quickly process your payments. Please be sure to update your automatic bill pays with the new address to ease the transition. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call.  Paperless Billing Sign up to save paper and receive your bill electronically. Combine this with autopay (see below) and simplify your life, save money, conserve resources, avoid late payments and other associated fees. In order to sign up, you will need your account number and the last name or business name as it appears on the bill.  Pay Automatically Sign up to save paper and stamps and pay your utility bill automatically. All major credit cards are accepted A 3% convenience fee will be charged for each transaction.   Pay by Mail In the mailing envelope provided with your bill, please provide a check or money order made payable to City of Morro Bay for the amount due. We're available to answer your questions by phone from 8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday. Search How to Use Service Request from CitySourced CitySourced Download for Smartphones Feature Links Service Request Service Request CitySourced is a mobile and online service request system for the City of Morro Bay, California. CitySourced allows residents to identify issues and report those service requests directly to the City of Morro Bay. Residents can upload a photo or video of the concern and mark the geographic location on a map. Each request can then be tracked for follow up. Requests may be submitted online or using a smartphone. You must create a Citysourced account to submit a request If the issue you are reporting is a public safety emergency, please call 911. If the issue you are reporting is a water or sewer emergency (NOT a water billing issue), please call 805-772-6261. California law designates the vast majority of the City's records as available for public viewing and disclosure.  The City of Morro Bay utilizes a 3rd-party software, NextRequest, to request, respond, and track all public records requests.  The portal allows requesters to communicate with the City about their respective record requests while also viewing documents that have been produced in response to commonly received public record requests. Search Local Roadway Safety Plan (LRSP) Home Your Government Departments & Divisions Public Works Engineering Division Engineering Division Services Provided The Engineering Division is responsible for ensuring that public and private street and sidewalk facilities, storm drainage, water supply, sewage collection, public facilities, and landscaped areas are designed and constructed in a manner consistent with City and other applicable codes and standards. Emphasis is placed upon the protection and preservation of natural resources and our coastal marine environment. Encroachment Permits Work done within the City's right-of-way requires an Encroachment Permit.  Download and complete  Encroachment Permit Application . ( NEW PDF FILLABLE APPLICATION) Please view the Working within the City Right of Way requirements for a list and specifics regarding requirements. Encroachment Permit submittal will be processed, and applicant will be notified of permit fees due. Please allow for 2-3 business days (after all required documents have been submitted) and 1-2 weeks (for encroachment permits that require an exhibit/plan review) to process and issue encroachment permits.  Permits can be paid via credit card by phone or mail, or open counter hours. Encroachment Agreement Structures within the City's right-of-way require an Encroachment Agreement. To submit a request, please follow the  Encroachment Agreement Instructions   and Exhibit Template Outdoor Dining An Encroachment Permit is used for temporary outdoor dining.
