Furthermore, this website will provide you with information and resources to help you get the most out of your honors classes and the Honors Enrichment Program (HEP).   Taking the time to seek out this program, reading this website and taking even one honors class suggests that you put a high value on your education.  Of course, we hope your first class leads you to others.  As you read on, you will learn how taking more honors classes can benefit you.  The Mt. San Jacinto College Honors Enrichment Program community is comprised of student scholars and faculty who share a passion for learning and the desire to expand their personal and academic horizons.  We hope that you will enjoy the special contact with faculty, exploring academic subjects in more depth, and engaging in a variety of special intellectual challenges.  Honors classes make it possible for you to stretch yourself intellectually, work actively with fellow students and faculty in an environment that encourages you to improve your critical thinking, and communication skills, and cultivate an understanding of the diverse points of view necessary for a rich and productive intellectual environment.  Perhaps the most valuable aspect of the Honors Program will be the enthusiastic learning environment you will help to create, an environment we hope benefits not only honors students and faculty, but the college and greater community as well. As a student in an honors class, you are a vital member of our learning community.  But besides your academic contribution, you have another important function—sharing your gifts with us to help us grow.  Since we're a relatively small group, you can play a significant role in enhancing the program and its reputation.  So as you become familiar with our program, begin thinking about the contributions your special talents can give us.  While you are with us, take advantage of our enrichment activities.  Workshops, seminars and cultural events provide you with additional opportunities to learn and grow, and you'll have a great time participating—we always do.  This program provides opportunities to learn something you could not have learned any other way. San Jacinto College. NASSSP supports students in their academic, social, leadership and cultural development. NASSSP creates a home away from home environment for students and provides a community that will support them from their first year of college to their graduation.  About the NASSSP Emblem This Emblem for Native American Student Support and Success Program (NASSSP) is created by a Luiseño/ Payómkawichum artist Summer Paa'ila Herrera. She not only created this emblem but also helped construct the design. It's essential to include Native voices, especially regarding Meaningful representation. Mt. San Jacinto College occupies traditional territories of the Cahuilla, Luiseño, and Cupeño peoples. This program aims to support students in academic success while also supporting cultural wellness. This emblem is of a traditional home style of the Luiseño but is like few other traditional housing styles in California. This emblem is representative of the program's goals. What we hope students will feel when they see the emblem is Meaningful representation, Safe space, home, and community. Land Acknowledgement Mt. San Jacinto College is situated on the traditional territories of the Cahuilla and Payómkawichum (“Luiseño”) peoples.   This land continues to be important to a diverse group of native peoples and is the home of several federally recognized sovereign nations:  The Morongo Band of Mission Indians  The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians The Ramona Band of Cahuilla The Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians  The Cahuilla Band of Indians  The Pechanga Band of Indians  We honor the lands, elders, and descendants of native people by recognizing that they are still here and by uplifting their stories, cultures, and communities.   We recognize that every member of Mt. San Jacinto College has, and continues to benefit from, the use and occupation of unceded land since the institution's founding in 1963.   Mt. San Jacinto College has a responsibility to acknowledge, show respect, and make visible the connections between MSJC and native peoples. As a college, we are striving imperfectly, toward being an inclusive, diverse, and equitable community.   The college is committed to strengthening its relationship with present-day indigenous communities in the district by supporting tribal nations. Mt. San Jacinto College will continue to create and enhance educational opportunities for indigenous students and local tribal communities.  Services Counseling Mentoring Student Support Tribal Community Workshops (Cultural/Academic) Campus Tours General Assistance Welcoming Space for Indigenous Students Scholarship Guidance Biweekly Meetings   NASSSP Virtual Lobby NASSSP Intake Form NASSSP Financial Support form Events Pine Nut Necklace Workshop Tuesday, January 20, 2026 11:00 AM San Jacinto Campus   safeTALK Suicide Prevention Training | September 23, 2025 Learn how to talk openly about suicide, recognize warning signs, and connect those in need with life-saving resources.  This free half-day workshop includes: Trainer presentations & facilitated discussion Skills practice for real-life scenarios Videos that highlight overlooked warning signs A supportive community resource person on site Open to everyone. Register  here ! Units represented in the course MUST be replaced by (an) additional course(s) in order to meet graduation unit requirements for associate degrees or certificates. Courses numbered 70-79 are intended for students with learning disabilities. Students may count a maximum of six units from each program for graduation, but such courses do not replace other English or math graduation requirements. In rare cases these courses may be accepted at a transfer institution. Final determination regarding the transfer of college credit rests with the individual receiving institution. Courses numbered 80-98 are academic courses not transferable to four-year institutions but applicable to non-transfer associate’s degrees and certificates. For purposes of non-transfer associate-degree graduation, state regulations limit general math courses in the category to Math 094 (Accelerated Algebra) or higher. In rare cases these courses may be accepted at a transfer institution. Final determination regarding the transfer of college credit rests with the individual receiving institution. Courses numbered 100-298 and C1000-C2999 are full collegiate level courses for which transfer articulation, C-ID transfer equivalents, or lower-division comparable courses at a UC or CSU exist. The courses are certified by the college to be of baccalaureate level and meet the criteria in California Code of Regulations Title 5 Education Codes 55002, 55005, and 55061-55063 termed “standard of rigor” for associate degree and transfer-level courses. Courses at this level are applicable to non-transfer and transfer associate degrees, ADTs, and certificates. Final determination regarding the transfer of college credit rests with the individual receiving institution. In addition, course numbers that begin with a 'C' are part of the California Community Colleges' Common Course Numbering System, ensuring that these comparable courses have the same number across all California Colleges. Course numbers that end with "H" indicate Honors courses. Courses numbered 299/699/899 are Special Projects created to provide academic opportunities for students who are capable of independent work with interest and previous coursework within a specific subject field. These projects are student specific, require research, and must be determined and supervised by a discipline faculty. The scope of the project will determine the number of units available between 1-3, Applying to MSJC | Mt. A gift from the Global Data Registry

When the Global Data Registry crawled https://msjc.edu/, we found no structured data — the language AI systems use to understand and describe a business online.

Schema is how ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity know what your business does and how to describe you accurately to your customers. Without it, AI systems are guessing.

The most important field in this block is sameAs — a verified edge connecting your website to your permanent record at the Global Data Registry. This is a free, confirmed link to a real verified source. It costs nothing and gives your website a confirmed node in the graph that AI systems traverse when building answers about your business.

Copy the block below and paste it into the <head> of your website. Or drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask it to extend it with your full business details — that is the fastest path to a complete schema record.

▶   What is schema?

Schema is a standard vocabulary maintained at schema.org that lets websites describe themselves in a language machines can read. When you add schema to your website, you are telling AI systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs exactly what your business is and how it connects to the rest of the web.
