Sign up today! $34 - $250 American Youth Soccer Organization Camps 6 AYSO PLAY! is the American Youth Soccer Organization’s national community outreach initiative, designed to grow the game by widening access to safe, affordable, soccer programs. We use the power of the world’s game to educate the whole child. For over 60 years, AYSO has been known as the “introduction to soccer program” for families, and through AYSO PLAY! we intend to drive our organization’s vision, mission, and philosophies into new communities where children need us most. AYSO PLAY! works collaboratively with wider community partners to reach more youth, year-round, through our programs, staff, and resources. We work hard to reach families that do not have the opportunity, access, or services to play. We believe soccer is where the ball is, and that we have a responsibility to ensure anyone who wants to play, can play. $95 - $165 Rebound Basketball | Summer Camps 10 Summer camps emphasize basketball skills through fun activities as well as games at the end of the day! Aquatics Day Camp introduces participants to various aquatics sports, including Competitive Swimming, Water Polo, and Synchronized Swimming. Through engaging games and activities, participants will improve their swimming skills and knowledge while having fun. This camp is designed for intermediate to advanced swimmers aged 7 through 12 who are Learn-to-Swim Levels 4-6. Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim 25 yards and float or tread for one minute.   $250 Junior Lifeguard Camp - Full-Day Camp Available 2 Registration OPENS 2/19 for Residents and 2/26 for Non-Residents Want to know what it takes to be a lifeguard? The Junior Lifeguard Camp is a program that introduces participants to the job of lifeguarding. Through various games and activities, participants will gain hands-on experience with many lifeguarding skills, including water rescues, CPR/AED, and first aid. Working with the experienced City of Berkeley Aquatics Staff, Jr. Guards learn lifelong skills, including leadership skills, good decision-making, work ethic, professionalism, and teamwork. Please Note: The Junior Lifeguarding course does not certify participants in first aid, CPR, or AED or as a Lifeguard. Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim 25 yards and float or tread for one minute. $250 BERKELEY DAY CAMP Berkeley Day Camp 9 Get outdoors and enjoy a summer’s worth of activities every day. Berkeley Day Camp is full of action-packed adventure, messy fun, new friends, and no sleeping bag required! Berkeley Day Camp will take place at Shorebird Park located at the Berkeley Marina to enjoy activities tailored to a variety of age groups and interests. Each week is themed and includes a special event along with hiking, shoreline exploration, tie-dye, arts and crafts, field games, and more. Campers will also love spending their days at Adventure Playground playing on the many kid-designed and built forts, riding the zip line, or creating with hammers, saws, paint, and recycled materials. The Activities change every week, including an expanded program of events for older campers freshly introduced for Summer 2026. So, whether it’s your camper’s first time or 20th, a world of summer fun awaits them at Berkeley Day Camp. Transportation is not provided. AM/PM Extended Care is available for an additional fee. So, whether it’s your camper’s first time or 20th, a world of summer fun awaits them at Berkeley Day Camp. $66 Berkeley Day Camp Counselor-In-Training 5 The Berkeley Day Camp Counselor In Training (C.I.T.) program combines the fun of Berkeley Day Camp while building practical skills and confidence to help Teens grow and prepare for their road ahead. Under the guidance of mentoring staff, Teens will have the unique opportunity to experience what being a summer camp counselor is all about. C.I.T.’s will participate in the planning and facilitation of a variety of summer activities while also learning group facilitation, mediation, leadership and professional skills that will carry with them to other parts of their lives. Teens will build self-esteem, skills and receive valuable on the job training, all while having fun.
