Del Norte Campus
CR currently serves a diverse population of communities in Del Norte, Humboldt and the western edge of Trinity counties. In 1978, Del Norte County joined the Redwoods district and in 1984, The Del Norte Education Center, located at 884 W. Washington Blvd. in Crescent City opened. This site, thirty miles south of the Oregon border near Point St. George, serves the residents with fourteen degree and certificate programs.

The CR Del Norte Library provides access to a variety research material to support student success and research. Online databases, electronic books, printed materials and access to the library catalog and Internet are all available. A Reserve collection of current textbooks and distance learning videos are available as resources allow.
Printing is available for students in the CR Del Norte Library. All printing is managed by PaperCut, students need to log into PaperCut before printing to get their printing credentials. You can learn more by going to the College of the Redwoods Tech Support Page.
Learning Resource Center
Test proctoring services for make-up and distance learning classes are available by appointment at the Learning Resource Center in the Library. Photo identification is required for this service. Word processing and required classroom software are available. Faculty need to coordinate test proctoring in advance on behalf of students, students are unable to coordinate their own exams. Take 101 southbound to Crescent City
Take the Washington Boulevard exit.
Make a right at the stop sign, and continue west along Washington Blvd.
The College is located adjacent to Del Norte High School.
From the South :
Take 101 northbound into Crescent City.
Turn Left onto Northcrest Drive.
Take another Left onto Washington Blvd.
Continue west along Washington Blvd.

Eureka Downtown Site The Adult and Community Education programs are located in downtown Eureka. Klamath-Trinity Site The Klamath-Trinity Instructional Site is located on the Hoopa Indian reservation, approximately 60 miles northeast of Eureka. Plus icon for accordion All new and returning students who have not been registered for classes for two or more semesters are required to submit an Application for Admission as early as possible. Before you register, clear any prior debts to the college through the Business Office. Business Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Review counseling, testing and orientation information . Students are limited to registering for a maximum of 18 units during priority, open registration, and Web registration. Students must have a advisor's approval to register for more than 18 units. Check to see if any courses you are enrolling in have a prerequisite. It is your responsibility to be sure you have met the prerequisite. Plan a balanced schedule. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled. Be sure to register early so your enrollment is counted! Students currently on academic probation may need to see an advisor before registering for classes. What is pass/no pass grading? Plus icon for accordion Some courses are graded on a letter-grade-only basis and some are graded on a Pass (P) No Pass (NP) only basis. Other courses offer students an option. To request a P/NP grade, select the "Register P/NP" option when registering for your class via WebAdvisor. If you decide to change you registration from Grade Only to P/NP after registration, you may do so up until the last day of a class. Your decision is final and cannot be changed later. For courses less than a semester in length, check with your instructor or send an email by clicking here: P/NP question . What is 'Auditing a Class'? Plus icon for accordion Auditing a class is taking a class without receiving a grade or credit. Students may audit classes with instructor approval by following these steps: Complete an application for admission to CR. Complete the prerequisites for the course. Print the audit form . After the second class meeting, meet with the instructor to verify that you may audit the course. If the instructor signs your audit form, return the form to Admissions & Records. Pay fees of $15.00 per unit (non-refundable), and Health Fee. Financial Aid (including fee waivers) does not cover audited courses. Once a student signs up to audit a course, the student cannot change to receiving credit and a grade for the course or vice versa. Concurrently enrolled high school students may not audit courses. Plus icon for accordion Short-term classes are those that start later than the semester start date. These classes will show a different date range under Meeting Information in WebAdvisor. You are encouraged to register in advance, however you do not need to begin attending the class until the published start date. How do you move off the waitlist once a class has started? Plus icon for accordion Students on waitlists must go to the first class meeting. Instructors will let you know if they will allow you to add the class. If the instructor chooses to add you to the class, they will let you know what time they will complete processing your add authorization. After that time, you will be able to log onto WebAdvisor and change your registration from "Waitlisted" to "Registered. It is your responsibility to register yourself for the class using WebAdvisor.
