Silverado Park & Community Center. The community center is the site of the first schoolhouse in the canyon. In 1961, Orange Unified School District transferred the property to SMRPD. It consists of two buildings connected by a concrete deck. One has a large kitchen with a commercial stove. The Center is used for a variety of meetings, classes and activities. It is available for rent for private activities such as weddings, birthday parties, holiday dinners, homeschooling, and meetings. The Center sits in a one-acre park (or Fairgrounds) with a large grassy area, graceful trees, picnic tables, sitting benches, full-sized basketball court, racquetball walls, and playground. Lights are available for night activities. Modjeska Community Center & Park. In 1947, a group of residents built a volunteer fire station in the heart of Modjeska Canyon. SMRPD took over the building in 1970 and converted it to a community center with a large meeting room and kitchen. Since then, the community has used the center for a number of activities and rented it for wedding receptions. Across the street from the Community Center, the two-acre park consists of a lighted basketball area, large expanse of grass, picnic tables, playground and native plant garden. A small trail leads to a gazebo with stunning canyon views. Both parks are open to canyon and non-canyon residents for non-exclusive use consistent with a family-oriented environment. SMRPD requests that groups of 20 or more coordinate any scheduled, public park use with SMRPD to avoid conflicts with reserved events. If you are planning on having an event with 20 or more people, please contact [email protected] to ensure availability. Facility Rentals Corporate Events, Weddings, Birthdays, Memorials, Classes, Dinners, and Meetings of all types SMRPD opens its facilities to rentals for canyon and non-canyon residents. Buildings can be rented individually or together; parks can also be rented. All renters must complete a Facilities Use Application. Links to the application forms as well as information about rental costs are on this page below the facility photos. Applications MUST BE APPROVED by the SMRPD Board of Directors in an open session public meeting (every 3rd Tuesday of the month); please plan ahead to allow time for this approval process. A gift from the Global Data Registry

When the Global Data Registry crawled https://www.smrpd.org/, we found no structured data — the language AI systems use to understand and describe a business online.

Schema is how ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity know what your business does and how to describe you accurately to your customers. Without it, AI systems are guessing.

The most important field in this block is sameAs — a verified edge connecting your website to your permanent record at the Global Data Registry. This is a free, confirmed link to a real verified source. It costs nothing and gives your website a confirmed node in the graph that AI systems traverse when building answers about your business.

Copy the block below and paste it into the <head> of your website. Or drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask it to extend it with your full business details — that is the fastest path to a complete schema record.

▶   What is schema?

Schema is a standard vocabulary maintained at schema.org that lets websites describe themselves in a language machines can read. When you add schema to your website, you are telling AI systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs exactly what your business is and how it connects to the rest of the web.
