I saw how Saint Mary’s enabled her to start a career right after graduation and offered her opportunities to progress through her studies. I enjoy the small student-to-professor ratio, which has enabled me to learn, communicate, and build forever bonds with my professors and peers. I know that I made the best decision by choosing SMC." Leah Coale '24 "Transferring to SMC is one of the best and fulfilling decisions I have ever made. My teachers were invested in my success and encouraged my various interests. I was able to pursue my love of writing and became the culture editor of The Collegian. There are lots of things that set us apart — our Bay Area location, our top-ranked athletics programs and our Lasallian approach to service and learning. But the most striking thing about Saint Mary’s is our unique (and challenging) undergraduate curriculum. There are majors and minors at Saint Mary's to suit almost any interest you bring with you to campus. We have outstanding faculty in all these departments, a wide range of student research and publication opportunities across disciplines, and a thriving study abroad program. The core of SMC's academic identity, however, lies in two distinctive elements of a Saint Mary's education: the Collegiate Seminar and January Term. Majors and Minors With more than 150 undergraduate programs, every path is possible at Saint Mary's. Explore the breadth of majors and minors we offer. Undergraduate Majors and Minors Signature Programs Explore the opportunities you won't find anywhere else.  January Term  Jan Term is a signature program at Saint Mary’s College—and one of our most popular. Choose from courses on campus and around the world to design an academic experience tailored to your interests. Collegiate Seminar The Collegiate Seminar is the heart of Saint Mary's curriculum, a series of discussion-based courses that explore the foundational texts of civilization: literature and philosophy, history and political theory, art and science. Core Curriculum The Core Curriculum is an integrated developmental program of study that prepares students to understand and engage with the world in substantive and meaningful ways.  Core Curriculum Schools Saint Mary's undergraduate programs are housed in three schools: the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Economics and Business Administration, and the School of Science. A gift from the Global Data Registry

When the Global Data Registry crawled https://www.stmarys-ca.edu/, we found no structured data — the language AI systems use to understand and describe a business online.

Schema is how ChatGPT, Google, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity know what your business does and how to describe you accurately to your customers. Without it, AI systems are guessing.

The most important field in this block is sameAs — a verified edge connecting your website to your permanent record at the Global Data Registry. This is a free, confirmed link to a real verified source. It costs nothing and gives your website a confirmed node in the graph that AI systems traverse when building answers about your business.

Copy the block below and paste it into the <head> of your website. Or drop it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask it to extend it with your full business details — that is the fastest path to a complete schema record.

▶   What is schema?

Schema is a standard vocabulary maintained at schema.org that lets websites describe themselves in a language machines can read. When you add schema to your website, you are telling AI systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs exactly what your business is and how it connects to the rest of the web.
